Huh? Do you know that 90% of missile launches will never go that far? And if you fly like 90° side on, the effective range will be half.

Namely, the Pantsir (if it was AI-controlled) would shoot at you the moment you entered its 20 km bubble. The ItO on the other hand, shoots at you around 12-13 km. It sees you long before this, but only shoots once you get within its max missile/engagement range

Doesn’t matter if it does or doesn’t. This is not based on Ground RB, it is based on a scenario where AI controls the SPAA. Ergo, they will launch automatically regardless of if it is likely to hit you or not. The whole point of it is to not let you get close to airfields. Or else, the SPAA in-game would shoot at you if and when you got much closer instead of shooting at you 13 km/whatever the max range on the missile is.

I never said anything about how far the AI will actually shoot, I was only talking about the real kinematic range of the missile in probable scenarios when people are shooting into the airfields with AGMs.

You didn’t have to, but this is what this topic is about. ItO’s shoot at you when you’re around 12-13km away, Pantsir will likely do the same if it’s AI-controlled. And yes… engagement range isn’t the same as effective range which you’re describing 🤦‍♀️

Again, something else that only benefits gaijin, just as the Heli pve nerf did.

You used to be able to make 600k silver and 110k rp a match of heli pve if you were #1 on the leader board and putting in work.

Now you get like 250k silver and 30k rp if you’re lucky.

The “bomber spam” isn’t the problem, because in other modes bombers either have to fight one another, or get shot down before they can even get anywhere. Arcade and realistic and horrendous for bombing.

You can not bomb sub-base when it too close to the airfield, you will have no chance to drop dumb bomb because ITO will alway hit you first, below 12.0 is terrible because u have no glide bomb or GBU to use it

their need revert it for BR 10.7 revert to roland range missile 5km

for BR 12.0 keep ito90m, because plane BR 12.0+ have many long range bomb like gbu39

i use f4ej ADTW cant close to airfield now because ito90m park in there, sometime base spawn near airfield, before this update AA lock n launch missile when u close to base and wanna drop bomb now u cant near airfield radius 12km

It should be 12.3+ for Ito, even some aircraft at 12.0 cannot deal with Ito90s.

At least at 12.3 is a bit more fair for all

It can be done at 10.7 - but at a high price:

Watched the kill-feed of an A-7K yesterday in Denmark that engaged SAM’s and SPAAG’s around airfields: He managed to kill quite a few ItO’s and Gepard, but at 100% death rate.

One can get a bit safer with Buccaneer S.2B and AJ.168’s, but like this you get 2, 3 targets max, which may respawn before you return with more missiles…

As for toss bombing, don’t think that’s feasible over 12km distance, but I myself never tried it at such distances.
