There many topics about the Yak-9K and is not postieve views. The Yak-9K just one hit is enough to ammo detonate any tanks. Classic spaa or fighters are facing difficulty to counter Yak-9K.

Because irl it wasn’t as much accurate, reliable as it is in the game.
Many things IRL were and are not as “much accurate” and “reliable” or just existed in sufficient numbers.
WT is a game. WT isnt a war or vehicle sim (emphasis on sim(ulator)). WT is arcade vehicle sim (emphasis on arcade) with somewhat realistic elements (in the form of using modules and components vs plain HP bars)
Even killing Tigers with a single shot. Wounder how much spawnpoints it costs, compared to fighters equipped with bombs. I always see this thing butcher tanks in GRB. Its so annoying. No blank fighter should be able to do these things without ordnance.
Havent noticed any price difference when compared to any plane armed with cannons and non-defalut belts.
Warthunder aircraft behaviour at piston engine fighters are quite authentic and comparable to Il2 (at least those released back in the earlier half of 2010s)
The cannon is far too accurate, and even with full-real controls it does not impact aircraft controllability nearly enough.
The APHE shells very likely never existed either, and even if it was it’s artificially buffed compared to any realistic behaviour by the Sphere of Death APHE approximation that should have been removed last vote.
Just like other regular anti-tank/anti-bomb airplanes that uses their weapons to destroy ground targets, Yak-9K needs some skill to destroy said targets.
“Classic SPAA” may be struggling, at battle rating 4.3 you’ll find some potent anti-air vehicles as well airplane fighters to counter said vehicle, the only problem is that there are little incentive to play as anti-air in-game.
@Thodin the vehicle costs around 600 spawn points in if I’m not wrong, almost a price for a airplane with a single bomb (e.g. Kikka with 800 Kg bombs), but you may take a better look, I’m not exactly sure about this information.
I would argue hardly, that this sentiment is simply wrong. I never flew a plane where its easier to kill ground targets as with the 9k. Not even the 335 b2 has it so easy. you can even br it much upwards and you keep killing.
Yes you may have a better point than mine’s, I actually bring the Yak-9K at higher battle rating matches on purpose sometimes, and, despite my lack of skills and stupid keybinds, I can manage some scores with it.
