Imo they should be removed. They’re very buggy, render at distances they shouldn’t, and wing vapor trails are uncommon irl.
They could model them according to the map environment and weather condition.
So you want probably the best effect in the game to be removed?

Proof?
They are dependent on weather conditions, for example in hot environments with no humidity you rarely would see them, but war thunder has different weather settings, so it doesn’t matter.
