The effectiveness of the R3 was always massively overstated. That being said, I don’t see why it couldn’t get spotting, and APDS since the HVAP has ahistoric performance compared to reality (the APDS does as well but at least its better), and be moved up to something like 7.7. It would be a great help to the 7.7/8.0 line up.

I actually love the 40mm AA guns, especially on the Leopard 1. Insanely fast, can murder tanks, high velocity, range, and damage against planes.
