It’s a perfectly acceptable aircraft currently. But it’d be more well-rounded at 11.3 without Magic IIs. France lacks any 11.x fighters, and really they haven’t anything between 10.7 and 12.0 considering how poorly the F-104Gs perform. Moving it down would fill that BR gap, and the F1CT (with its better RWR and countermeasures) would still be available for 12.0.

I don’t see a problem with it being where it is now, the problem is in the BR of the other planes, with a higher BR than it, Gaijin should increase the BR of modern and capable planes, because the way it is, the BR from 12.0 to 13.0 is unusable for most planes.

Even with the magic 1s it would still sit at least at 11.7…
The plane is fine at 12.0 with what it has, infact I dare to say its actually one of the best premium 12.0s in the game now adays. When it originally released and what not it was a flying bus, and only the magics redeemed it. However, it is no longer that same plane at all.

I mean the F1C or F1 200 with even magic 1s would still be seeing stuff at 12.3 like F18 and the F16 which trounce it easily anyway…
As you say the issue isnt the mirage its the damn planes sitting 0.3 above it which are a generation newer and more advanced.
Given how gaijin can be reluctant to remove anything from a vehicle, i would say that another way to get a lower BR Mirage F1 would be to ask for a new vehicle like :
- a Mirage F1C (early), that would be the easiest one to do
- The Mirage F1B, that would be worse because of the added weight and lack of internal gun
- The Mirage F1A, the attacker variant exported to South Africa and libya, limited to 2 Magic 1
- The Mirage F1 M53, with the M53 engine and same weaponry as a early F1C
The early F1C would probably be 11.3, while both F1B and F1A, having different kinds of drawbacks, would probably be 11.0.
Finally, the F1 M53 could be 11.7, thanks to its better engine.

Mirage F1C lose magic 2 and decrease BR to 11.7 (Air AB & RB) and 11.3 (Air SB)
But Mirage F1C-200 and Mirage F1CT retain magic 2

The engine is pretty decent, the 530F’s aren’t great at all but they used in the right situation can do alrightm same as the underslung IR missile
even with magic 1s you’re talking 11.7 easily. in what world would it sit at 11.0… same BR as the mig21 BIS or the Mig23M which are both far worse, and below the worse F4E
mig 21 bis could very easily beat it with ease even MF model could dog on it

You beat them with energy alone.
The FM on a mirage F1C is not worse than a mig21MF mate…
The Magic 1’s have substantially more range than R60Ms-
(dunno why you specificed the 60MK, they’re identical just the K is export.)
F5E is arguably under BR’d but it overall still loses to the F1C , if you are dueling like 1v1’s then likely not as they are absolutely sht for finding out what is better in ARB xD

Just cause you’ve shot down likely F1 200’s flown by low levels with no idea how to use the platform doesn’t mean it deserves to go down, its one of my most used rank 7s and believe me, it is a perfectly capable platform where it is.
