I have been thinking if I should grind for the F-15C MSIP II or the F-18C Late. I have grinded out the fighter and navel fighter lines so it is just a matter of choosing one or the other. I know that the F-15 has supreme engine power over the F-18 but stiffens up at higher speed and only has 8 missiles while the F-18 has better control at all speeds and 12 missiles. Also the F-18C Late just received the AIM-120C-5 which as far as I know is better than the AIM-120A the F-15C MSIP II receives. Thanks for any advice in advance!

Frankly I’d go with the F/A-18C Late as it has far more overall ord options at it’s disposal, but frankly, if you want a top tier US fighter, settle for nothing less than the F-15E.
First off. They arent actually all that much better.
Especially when F-15C can fire the Bs higher and faster than the F-18 can fire C5s. This is probably more than enough to close the gap.
Both have comprable radars. Both have comprable BVR performance. With the F-15C able to climb higher & get there faster and then can fly in a straight line faster meaning it can impart more energy into the missiles. The F-18 though has slightly better missiles and more of them, but is much slower.
F-15C has the stronger defensive loadout with 240 CMs vs The F-18s 120. But used right 120 is plenty.
Both can multirole. So if that is something you want, then they are reasonable evenly matched, though F-18 gets a Tpod. So if you want something for CAS in GRB or something a bit easier to use in ASB, then F-18 wins, but if you are just after PvP in ARB, then that doesnt really matter.
So TLDR… Which one speaks to you more. Which do you like the look of? Do you enjoy the “independence Day” or “Top Gun” Movies… etc etc… Because both I think are roughly evenly matched and nothing stopping you grinding the other once you’ve done with the first. Spading vehicles is a great way to research something else anyway

Second one uses single seat hornets, I want the BF 3 hornet.
Actually every in cockpit scene was filmed in 2 seaters and there were (in plot) 2 seater hornets

Super hornets, and Independence Day is the one that uses legacy hornets but I think you already knew that. Sadly none of the big movies with fighters really have F-15’s

Thank you for that information! If both aircraft balance out in Air RB, then I think I’ll go with the F-15 because it is more visually appealing to me.

the F-15C also has potential as iirc its radar should be better and it could get BOL (up to 640 extra countermeasures)
