Should I grind Ferdinand?

I watch on the YouTube about ferdinand and I think it’s quite interesting. It’s that worth it to grind guys? Or do you guys have other recommendation? I prefer on German btw

It has long 88 gun so armament wise its good but dont forget it has posche command tiger 1 chasis so u can fully reverse it has just some weak spots frontally otherwise its not bad a tank destroyer

Yes it has no Mg34 so u can only use your cannon

YES ABSOLUTELY YES, its insane, its like a mini Jagdtiger with less armor and a smaller gun (Keep in mind its still the VERY potent 88), (Jagdtiger is a dream with the 128 and a bit more armor, that’s also angled on the UFP, and the sides have 80-110mm of armor According to Gaijin). although the main drawback is it has no mg in the hull or anywhere if you want that you have to fork over at least 30 gjn coin I think. other than that I think its a very good tank

To be honest i like Jagdtiger more yes it has longer reload and slower but if it hits it hits like a truck and its durable

Yes. I prefer the Ferdinand over at Jagdtiger at 6.7. (The Jagdtiger goes to my Maus line up, where a punchier gun overweights the advantage of the reload.)

Personally, I hate it. It’s slow, ok gun at the tier, but I wouldn’t use it personally. Things like the M-51 will kill u frontally with ease, you’ll probably get flanked and die before even making it into battle. I’ll take a king tiger over it any day of the week

I don’t recommend it. I see it regularly on the field and it is basically just free SP. Maps are too small, the side armor too weak, the gunner zoom too little…
There once was a map it was king on, because it had the perfect cover for it, but that is long gone. If you know a spot at which you can hide anything but the superstructure and still shoot over the cover, you might be able to make it work.

Ferdinand + Tiger 2 H is a good configuration. Plus Bulldog

I believe Ferdinand is quite good. Fast firing 88 + pretty much unpennable frontal armor (at least until enemies load APCRs). Gives you all the vibes if you`re the “slow tank” type of guy

THIS^^ is very important…thing is SLOW and hard to manoeuvre…so if you don’t like this play style AVOID it.
It has good gun and armor, yes…and can be VERY effective…but IMHO it is not fun to play as it takes very long to get into position and is hard to aim. IF you know and like to play this type of vehicles, then YES it is worth getting it…
