Type 16 (Prototype) is the best one currently to play, Type 16 (Production) is decent I can’t lie, it has the Type 93 APDS-FS but you’ll face tougher enemies, the prototype variant has some advantages for being placed at lower battle rating.

I currently have the Type 16 as well as Type 25 RCV (CTWV RCV P) from my 9.7 line up upto 12.7 lineup

it plays very nicely just need to aim a little better

The fps one

The FPS/P are both great at 9.3, being quite mobile and survivable with an amazing cannon, decent reload and good thermals. The service Type 16 is better, with a round good enough to be used in top tier.

I honestly would purchase the Type 74 (G) over the Type 16 FPS, purely because the FPS is 1:1 to the P and the Type 74 G is the only Type 74 in game with thermals. It is the best Type 74, and has no tech tree equivalent.
