Should I get the Su-25K for 23.99$ on the 60% PSN sale?
I looked on the wiki and it is a copy-paste Su-25 but Im thinking of grinding the USSR air tree and have a good CAS plane for GRB 10.3 with the TURMS-T.
But I’m just wondering if it is worth it.

If you want to grind, mig 23 is solid on that, or even su 39 , but 25 is just overrated

Tbh I used it to grind the USSR tech tree and it wasn’t bad at all. Its placement at 10.3 in ARB is actually pretty decent, because you often face planes without flares - basically free R-60MK kills.
But if you want to grind air faster, then definitely go for the MiG-23ML.

Depends. For ground, it’s pretty decent. It gets a lot of countermeasures for its br and ok speed for a strike aircraft. Armament wise, It can carry AGMs such as the Kh-25 and the Kh-29L which are quite powerful in the right hands. However, I personally like to take the S-13OF rockets over the missiles since it’s a lot more fun to use than the missiles. Plus, it gets R-60MK missiles which are pretty good for taking down any threats in the air as long as they’re on your nose.
As for air, I can’t really say the same. Sure it gets 4 additional gun pods and 2 IR missiles, but you still have a pretty lackluster speed compared to other jets. Meaning that you are either going to get intercepted by enemy fighters every easily on your way to a base, or other bombers in your team will take out the base before you can. Also, if both of your missiles don’t hit, it’s basically over for you, since now you have to rely on your guns. Forgot to mention, because of the fact that you are going to be facing fighters 95% of the time makes it even worse.
So yeah, for ground I would give it a solid 7.5/10. You really can’t go wrong with CAS with this machine. Great armaments paired with decent amount of countermeasures? Yeah this thing really slaps. The only problem is the mediocre maneuverability and speed, and also the fact that it has a tech tree variant that can pretty much do the same thing.
For air, I unfortunately can’t give it the same ratings. So it gets a 4/10. Look, I might have a skill issue, but this thing just gets bullied by pretty much everything you’re gonna facing most of the time. R-60MK are great, but they are not guaranteed kills. you’ll be lucky to even destroy a base in time. But overall, it’s pretty worth it if you pair it up with the TURMS-T or have a 10.0 Russian lineup. Just don’t use it in air.
or should I wait for dec GE sale to get T-80UD and 2S38 for 50% off?
Yeah definitely.
Both of them cost around 10000 GE which is about 75$ CAD
And that’s around 150$ CAD or 106$ USD for both of them which is quite expensive
But if it’s on a 50% sale then it can go down to 75$ CAD or 53$ USD
10k GE is 50$ flat and on 50% sale bothe would be 50$ pluss a lil extra GE to spare bc they cost a bit more then 8.5k GE.

You can use those lil extra GE on upgrading crew or buying premium time which I highly recommend
