You do understand that these bribes came in before the final decision on the effectiveness of each tank right? Also so far 14 challenger 2s have been deployed in combat and 21 leopard 2a6s have been deployed (active in combat) 9 leopards have been lost and only 1 challenger (some reports say 2 but there is no concrete evidence). I dont think either tank is bad and I have no personal affiliation to the British military, Im trying to treat this as objectively as possible based on actual combat perfomance and not bits and scraps of documents from before the tank was even servicable.
I’ll just quote someone else.
adding export stuff from india (su30mki, rafale) to russia or france (this option is no longer possible) > not adding them at all >>>>> giving them to UK
Pleases go rant some where else with :)
speaking about ukraine war currently its political speech to gaijin and they can get a thread locked for it so dont do it
If you dont understand context @UnHolySausage mentioned that “politcal speech is not allowed” maybe try reading before replying something as dumb as “political?”
quote for your copium
Im mentioning the combat performance of these vehicles within a war, not the war itself, we would already be off the topic and not mentioning it further if you didnt keep bringing it up.
well it is according to gaijin it has happened before
I know. Can you not read. This is why it says “(this option is no longer possible)”. That was just an opinion I share. Also I would be pretty angry if my countries service aircraft were added to the tech tree of my past oppressor. It just feels like an insult.
Trials concluded in 1999.
Bribes were solicited in 2003.
You can figure this out, surely.

Cool, you’re the one who mentioned what cannot be so what’ever (and you pinged me when his post in response to you…).
some reports say 2 but there is no concrete evidence
Case in point, @Mulatu_Astatke, it has been done.
Challenger 2 simply keeps sinking in mud constantly, easy as
aight, if you want the performance the CR2 so far hasnt been used in active frontline combat and mostly just for bunker busting with the HESH shell and that’s about it compared to the sheer ammount of leopard 2 in frontlines constantly being in the most dangerous area for the tank aka the front, and most of loses end up in the leopard disabled but so far almost no blown off leopards because the ukrainan leopards currently use insensitive ammo
Does he know
He doesn’t know.
He dosen’t know.
What do you need videos of Challenger 2s in active combat? I assure you I can show you but I guarantee there would be some very disgruntled people here.
If you really need solid evidence I can assure you I can provide it unlike the claims you have forwarded
He doesnt know.
