Brother, there’s nobody here except two heli lovers it’s like the ‘Poland mentioned’ meme. I’ve seen 50+ people say they dislike them, so I came to the forums to confirm my perception of how the community feels about helis, and there are just two people defending them. That’s not ‘strong support.’ Like, bro, I don’t even like dealing with planes, but helis are worsethey’re stationary, peeking from a hill 5+ km away, and not even vulnerable to air defense.
Also, I asked in 5 battles: ‘I’m doing a surveydo you like helis in War Thunder, yes or no?’ The response was overwhelmingly negative, I don’t think the forums are the real opinion of the average player base bro

The only heli that can sit 10km away is the russians atleast from my knowledge, the other reason is because the anti airs in your team are doing nothing to shot it down, hell i have shot down countless helis with proxy fuse on my abrams. It is easy if they fly straight up

Doesn’t really matter, Gaijin is not going to remove helis . . . ever. They generate revenue and once in the game . . . very unlikely to ever be “removed”. That’s the reality of the situation . . . you can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube.
Should they have thought it out better before putting them in? . . . prolly. Or maybe even make them more useful as a means of logistics, like ferrying ammo, fuel(oh yeah tanks in the game have bottomless fuel tanks . . . I almost forgot[very “realistic”]) and replacement crew members?? Much more like real life/realistic.
But no, the game is about vehicular combat . . ALL vehicles are weapons and offensive in nature in the game. That is not likely to change any time soon either.
Bottom line, regardless of how much some players may dislike certain vehicles and/or how they are used in the game, once in there . . very rare that they are removed. Of the 1000’s of vehicles in the game, 7 have been removed in the 11+ years I have been playing. And I have all 7 of them anyway. Just means newer players won’t be able to get them in the future.
But the idea that Gaijin just remove product because you don’t care for them . . . yeah, that ain’t happening.
p.s. I don’t particularly care for them myself, but I think it’s ok to have them in there . . adds variety. And I never see them anyway, because I just don’t play the BRs where they are used . . . problem solved . . . for me anyway

I have a really random answer which may include midgets.
Those were for early testing of different things. You get some from packs, and some like Air Forces Tester is from being part of the beta way back when it was planes only. Back well before tanks were even a thought let alone jets
