Should gaijin add user skins, sights, and etc?

I wish people can see my user made skins that I downloaded from WT Live, I mostly use historical skins that looks much better than ingame camo’s, some of them actually are on sale at Gaijin Market.

But I can also see how this can cause huge problems due to certain camo’s that’s offensive and not suitable for younger people.

I guess best decision is to keep it like this.

I mean if u are offending by historical accurate maybe u should not play such military theme games ( by you i meant general audince)

What I meant is that absurd camo’s that involves sexual anime characters and similiars.

I have no issues with historical camo’s even if they have certain symbols on them which I use on my WWII planes and Tanks.

Panther2995 is right, how are gajin/forum witlive modertors arent doing against anything. i bet around 80% of WT live skins arent suitible for small kids under 18.

U are right i was gonna say war thunder is 18+ or 16 + but no its 12+ game and if a child could see that it need restricted mods or camo

And i give u right even though i like weeb stuf i dont think its suitable to a war game like it isnt world of tanks

Loving weeb stuff is totally fine in my book since I’m also huge fun of anime’s and characters but as you mentioned some stuff can cause issues for children so its best to stay this way.

Like i said i thought this game was 18+ but no if i child can play this game without parental approved then its need to moderate

+1 for being able to download user skins/sights in game. It would make it a lot more convenient and used.

-1 if it means skins could be visible to all players.

Do u have same problem wirh sight using costum made like old time u could just download it and play with it but since the update i cant download fromm wt live or using it

I’m using Ingame custom sights that was added by Gaijin and honestly they are pretty good.

Can’t say anything about wt live custom sights tho.

mybe the devs will make the age restriction higher since the infantry came out. but i think, gajin should band gooner skins

What do u think about body pillows u could get them ? Or panzer maidens

i think there are fine, as there not showing so much skin, but the maidens i canr remeber

I would welcome if GJ would add more of the Historical and Semi-Historical skins. The Fantasy ones in don’t care. Never downloaded them, never used them nor bought them.

I’m amazed how Gaijin still didn’t find a way how to make skins very profitable, unlike many other games.

They already profiting enough from current market skins, what they need to do is to implement most wt live historical skins in order gain more customers.

Yes, we need more skins to be added in general.
Gaijin could improve a lot of things when it comes to skins.

My user skin folder size is 70GB, now imagine if Gaijin adds all those user skins I’m currently using, they’ll be rich just from my purchases alone.

Bit late to the party here, and my first forum post ever but I wanted to touch on this topic. As far as I am aware, Gaijin is using the live.warthunder site to find and implement historical camos for aircraft and tanks (ships too? idk). The criteria they look for in those user generated camos is currently unknown. Why not just create a site and database of their own for users to upload camos to? Have any upload initially scanned/curated by AI that has been taught to detect content that would break TOS. Whatever passes the initial check, gets verified by a moderator or admin and if they clear it as well, it gets uploaded for use on the site by anyone who wants that camo for their tank or aircraft. Skins/camos created and processed following this would be able to be seen by all players if they have the downloadable content setting set to on in their options. Would alleviate the concern of potentially offensive content being seen while giving users more content that doesn’t affect gameplay. I am aware that this method may cut into revenue generated through existing skin sales, but I believe I have a workable solution for that as well. If a user wants this content, sell it as a monthly service that costs GE. They make the money off the back end via GE sales. Another option would be to only have it accessible to premium accounts. If your monthly “sub” lapses, you lose access and are stuck with base camos that are unlocked via the existing system.

Just some thoughts, sorry for the wall of text and reviving a thread that died a month or so ago.
