They moved up the sales so they could use that excuse to not put “Seek and Destroy” vehicles on sale.

Isnt it usually that the vehicles that arent on anniversary sale, are going to be in winter sale?
It would be fine if they replace another “legacy” stuffs such as OG Tu-2 but, I dont think they will do that.
Other half of packs will be discounted on New Year sales, but keep in mind that those discounted now - won’t be on NY (this saved me from buying Somua SM pack coz I though everything will be discounted later, but it turned that I saved me money and it was BR nerfed later :)

question: who would ever buy the object 140 full price when the am1 is better in almost every aspect and now on sale? Also why not putting on sale unpopular vehicles player won’t buy because they are not good value for money? Or i don’t know, proposing the vehicles the playerbase will happily pay for when discounted? Gaijin really need a new marketing team…

That’s not how that works.
Sale is either before or after the update based on internal update release timeframe.
Sale happened prior to the update because the update goes beyond the anniversary of War Thunder, that’s it.
