No? Who said that? Are you the one implying something on my behalf here?
If it was to celebrate his achievements, at least half of the money earned would be transferred to his living relatieves or to some museum of his name.
That does not happen.
Exactly! this new IP they made is stupidity, they should have asked Bandai Namco for a GuP collaboration. Because this is valueless as not connected to any IP.
Making an event with nonexistent IP with no existing fanbase = making an event with well known ip with huge amount of fans all over the world. Okay boomer…
The best sounding language it is, tho.
The characters have no ethnicity at that moment so they basically can use any language. And the IP they made has no lore whatsoever. So they can use any language as no known reason for them not to exists.
I was talking about the game itself.
A game trying to realistically depict military vehicles, combat and history adding a vehicle/skin dedicated to an Ace pilot is one thing.
A game trying to realistically depict military vehicles, combat and history adding a 2d waifu with no real life connections is a whole different thing.
No one said this was charity. You can celebrate someone without giving them financial support.
That guy was a real life soldier and he had a great success in what he was doing.
On the other hand, Kate, is famous for blowing a gum bubble that’s as big as her head while speaking Japanese, which is a tremendous achievement when it comes to military vehicles.
GuP is also completely fake and unrelated to real life.
2d = 2d
At least you own the IP and can do more content or start a new game based on that.
What’s the point of using Japanese when you’re advertising that content to people that mostly don’t know Japanese, so English would be a much better choice.
I don’t expect you to find any differences between the two terms.
a man who promises to take responsibility for the moral or religious education of a child, and traditionally presents the child at baptism
a fictional female character from a video game, anime, or manga whom a person (typically a man) regards as their actual or ideal romantic partner.
You asked why i buy it and then wrote that nonsence.
Tho i agree that game itself has them to honor their actions, but must of those named planes are as copy=paste slop as those new machines. They only offer several unique camos, and sometimes have unique perks.
Yes, that makes some sense. Tho as for that, the game has its players around the globe and notices what people like. Some like to buy bright E-sport skins. Some like to have their content creator decal (many times its anime girl also, lol). Others like to put glames and such. So
And for those who dont like bright stuff it has an option to turn it off, im a big fond of this decision.
So no one gets hurt feelings.
In russia if you celebrate someones achievements, you greet them with both good words and gifts. I dont know how it`s around the world tho, thats my point of view on the world as a rusian person.
And using his name - if he has living relatieves - for financial operations such as selling ingame planes) also falls under the copyright laws of both US and Russia tbh.
So its not about charity.
Nah. You entirely miss the point here.
Because you aim for a specific audience, because its an anime, and most anime fans are fond of japanese. Simple as that.
would be for those who arent a target audience tho
now that you mention… Even throwing away japan as “nothingmore to add” as they said, we DO have some examples of that rule breaking without proper reason, now i see that, you`re right here.
No worries, not all nations use obvious designations for their prototypes.
Based on their names a lot of those example I listed could pass as production vehicles.
For the lower tiers you would be right, Gaijin does have a tendency to turn older prototypes into premiums vehicles, but the top tier premiums usually are copy paste (or slightly different) versions of tech tree vehicles.
Event vehicles seem to be a mixed bag, but luckily in a lot of cases there are variants that could be added to the tech trees
That’s what premiums should be, copy paste vehicles from TT that mostly have their camos and decals as an unique thing. Those vehicles being connected to real life events and people is also what makes them unique.
Kate and company is pretty much content that’s fit for a GuP game, not WT.
I know that they’re chasing money, but identity of the game should be preserved.
We getting 2d waifus is definitely a step in the wrong direction.
I can’t turn off waifu PFPs on the forum and in the game.
Waifu liveries are also in the same category as perfectly viable military camouflages found on WTLive for example, which doesn’t make sense either.
We should be getting a “Disable all waifu content” button in settings if they really want to push this slop. Gaijin promoting this on their social media is also really weird for the game itself.
Define gift.
Gift can be a simple thing as giving out free copies of the plane for his relatives or giving out GJN coupons as well.
I think Gaijin’s legal team thought about it before adding stuff like that.
Nope I don’t.
GuP is also anime that has no connections to the reality.
except for the T series and the 120S i certainly thought that all those were serial ones.
WEll, the Jap ST-A series werent, but the STBs? Honestly, i never doubted that they are mass produced
I would agree if we see all the prototypes in tech trees tho :/
pretty much any GuP content is fit for that game. This game has little connection to reality, especially when we talk about hurting humans, which is a turning point in this situation
It sure is. Thats why they have “show only historical content” triggers
so?
There are pretty much many more to that.
And PFPs are the least concern. Its still pretty funny to see santa claus destroying you using leopard 1
no they arent? Ingame at least
that does not count either.
we do? well except of PFPs which doesnt count anyway.
different stuff, too wide of thy.
Do think so too
So? that wasnt the point anyway)
Point was in that GuP has active fanbase.
(thy saying no connection is stupid as entire prefecture Oarai literally became a museum of GUP)
Game about realistic vehicles pushing out anime content, totally absurd behavior that players can’t control.
Those things should really fall under the “show historical content only” toggle.
Gaijin treats WTLive skins as fictional content, no matter what they represent.
It pretty much does count.
So GuP’s connection to the real life world of military vehicles and reality itself is the fact it’s plot has played out in a town that actually exists ? That’s really important and definitely makes the series much more “realistic”, making it a worthy addition to the game that’s supposedly about realism.
which includes realistic vehicles XD
That may have also include custom paint jobs, but base machine is realistic)
May or may not. I think that they should let people use their own pictures as avatars. That way you WILL see how many people prefer anime girls instead of sweaty nazi tankers.
That makes no difference if you ask me - that`s the user profile, which does not have any connection to “realistic vehicles”
WTLive skins are applied ONLY for your client ingame tho if we talk about those downloaded and applied by you. And those which are added to the game via market are separated:
It is not? No one told you that user profiles will be realistic. Especially when they can use any nickname and a pool of pfp`s which is like early 2000s internet resource
GuP`s connection to real life is its fanbase and teh suport tho
AND they use real existing vehicles, yes. The entire anime is basically made for the weaboos like us who play “realistic” tank arcade shooter.
I don’t think that trailer was about realistic vehicles showcased there at all, they were just trying to sell anime slop.
Letting people use what they want opens a new can of worms.
So far majority of PFPs were depicting military personnel that actually look like that.
Anime, furry, Santa PFPs and the likes don’t belong in the same category.
So the connection is pretty unimportant, got it.
I haven’t watched the show so I can’t tell you how realistic it looks to me, but I doubt I’d be impressed with the realism. GuP is fiction and has no place in WT, but Gaijin seeks money over anything else so we might see something like that in the future.
It sure was, at least partially. They need to show you the machinery they will sell to you)
And that too
So you just angry because people like other stuff?
Show itself is a cool arcade anime tho. Ngl they never positioned it as realistic tho so there are many unrealistic movements for example. Tho if we talk about
so then the GuP also utilizes realistic vehicles which look just beautiful AND realistic, even insides of the tanks do.
It does not mean everything other than that should be realistic tho)
