Unique vehicle by itself does not generate any money.
That’s why you need to sell it with a friend or two in a pack. It’s unhealthy to keep your premium tanks by themselves. They need companionship.

At this point that Eva decal is more fitting to the game than this, which is disturbing to say the least.
I have a lot of respect for Gaijins decision to create their own IP instead of just taking stuff from an already existing IP.
Doing collabs and taking assets from another companies IP is easy, but coming up with your own stuff takes some actual effort.

Don’t ask them to add unique vehicles in this context, we all know that they’ll just end up turning the unique stuff into event and premium vehicles.
I can already see all the unique howitzers being premiums because most trees already have the M109, M44 and M55.
Copy-paste premiums are a good thing and you cannot convince me otherwise.

I’d love unique vehicles too, I’d love to see the ZBD86A, Seafire XV and whatnot
But if you thought that’s ever going to make more money than top tier premiums copy paste or otherwise you’re deluding yourself
They can sell top tier premiums without locking unique non top tier vehicles into premiums/event vehicles.
I’d even argue that putting unique vehicles in the regular tech trees makes people buy more top tier premiums, even if they are copy paste versions of tech tree vehicles.

It takes as much time and effort, as you still need to come up with realization of the stuff - draw models, skins, the stuff you will be selling afterwards. E.g. you still need to draw awatars, decals, camos, promotion stuff. But more importantly - it takes bit more money, as you need to cooperate with others. And thus is exactly why gaijin makes their own IP.
they never did nor would add prototypes, obejcts to tech tree, thus asking for adding UNIQUE premiums is as adequate as asking for clean water to drink. I dont want to see copy-paste abrams as a top tier premium when we can obtain something like CATTB which otherwise will be hidden behind an event or never added at all.
Making the unique mass produced vehicle a premium is a bad thing, that i agree with. But adding clones to premiums when they have policy to add unique prototypes as premiums (hello T58 which has 90% vote rate for “tech tree” on this forum) is insanely lazy.

As I said in one of the previous comments, id take six M1A1HC premiums if it meant that T58/T54E1/Black Prince would be TT.
Sure just making another visually distinct variant of TT vehicle might be seen as lazy, but if it would lead to all the unique stuff being researchable…

And thus why im against those. Yes, i will gladly see all the premiums as copy-pastes aif we somehow manage to convince gaijin to add uniques, prototypes, objects ect. to the tech tree. But we wont.

They add all the prototpes, uniques and other stuff as premiums and events for like 13 years. I mean, you can dream. But after 5 thousand hours in game you stop…
Anime characters have a face and a voice, so they can give you much more than that, if you know what I mean. If no one was interested in this the term waifu wouldn’t even exist in the first place.
Gaijin and other companies understand this very well, which is why they make those 2d waifus the way they make them.
And to celebrate that pilot’s achievements, which is why it’s in the game in the first place.
Kate is completely fictional and has literally zero connection to the real world, so adding that skin in a game like WT has zero value.
It takes a bit more money to do the same thing basically and if it’s your own IP you have a chance to do something more with it in the future, expand it somehow.
Unrelated to this, I find it extremely funny that our “international squad” operating US/GER/RU tanks use Japanese language to communicate. It adds to the slop feeling.
