Also… why is that even a point? You never specified that in the first place)
You must understand that pinups we have ingame are mostly the creations of the pilots, BUT MOST OF IRL PINUPS were just re-draws of the Playboy magazine girls. So your point is exactly wrong here - we have REAL pinups based on only those pinups which arent under some copyrights, and most of the nowadays anime girl drawings on techs are under copyrights (stickers inside the tank are straight up IPs, the Yukari drawing is also an IP, ect ect ect). Same goes for that Dakimakura. And then we have nearly half of the pinups ingame that are made up by Gaijin.
its stupid to expect those decals or dcorators which fall under the copyrights. Tho if we someday will see a GuP-WT collab, i certainly expect to see that exact decal with Yukari.
Its not like F-16s a stealth plane tho, and we know many different paint jobs of the F16s that certainly arent stealth paint as they feature many different colors and drawings
You could just accept being wrong. WW2 aircraft had naked women on them. Get over it.
Are you going to have that same attitude with the Creator Decals or the made-up barrel text? What’s next, do we need to remove the ability to put those real pinups on vehicles that didn’t have them? How about we make it so that you can’t place those pinups anywhere but where they actually were on the exact vehicle/plane?
God forbid, do I need to ask my military friends stationed overseas on SEPv3 to put a row of body pillows for you to get over it?
The US introduced very strict rules on artwork many years ago, primarily to reduce the proliferation of the more risqué forms, although the further away ftom home the units were based the more they seemed to circumvent this.
The latest stealth paints almost led to a full ban but there was strong backlash as it meant anything not "factory applied’ would be illegal. The USN apparently was particularly fervent in its defence of tail art and CAG markings and the ruling was changed to only authorised paints could be used, hence they are now mostly grey on grey and far less common. Its rare outside of unit markings nowsdays, but at least one F-22 had art, and a F-35 sported mission markings.
It’s still banned for logical reasons. If it wasn’t banned, I’m a hundred percent sure we’d see every other jet with some Pilot’s waifu on it. Japan does it, and every branch in the US without it banned does the same thing.
i mean, each and every unregulation drawing is banned in each and every army. All of the pinups, waifus are drawn on those machines which participate in combat, meanin that they just ignored the regulations.
