its doesnt matter if IP is held by same company, what matters is if IP is its own distinct thing/franchise. If say Gehnshin had collab with ZZZ, it would still be a collab, despite being owned by the same company.

I don’t even think they would have put the effort into making this Senrai Maidens stuff if Gaijin actually was open to doing collabs outside of e-sports/vehicle model/flightstick promos
