Those do not need to be mutually exclusive thing though, Games can be good and profitable.
I’ve seen pictures of my Dad in Vietnam and my great uncle in Darwin (during the Japanese air raids)… these girls are over dressed compared to them… They both had shorts and a tin hat, Dad had an SLR and the great uncle had binoculars cuz he was an SPAA gun crewmen… beyond that I don’t think they even had shoes on…
And yet it had the exact same reception, with people going as far as saying that since no helicopter would fly painted like that in a war, it had no place in the game. Nevermind that we already had parade camos.
End of the day, this doesn’t change anything to the game experience, and if it happens to drives away a portion of our super serious “radical historical accuracy” whackos that have their monthly thread about “Why won’t Gaijin let us plaster a certain symbol all over our vehicles ?” then I’d go as far as to say it actually improves the game.
Also funny GuP tangent, but as far as competitive mock tank battles go, what it depicts is infinitely superior to what we currently have in WT.
Bored, horney grunts+ spray paint… at least their NCO kept them away from the C4…
If you like I can tell you a story about Aussie aircraft mechanics dancing in their underpants, but you will never look at beer, cats or mosquito bombers the same way again.
I’m not offended by any of this new stuff… their game their rules, I just think it’s derpy and cringe personally. And I do think the body pillow meme in WT in general has gotten pretty lame. The first one was amusing. Now it’s derp. But just my opinion as a player/customer here, I don’t expect anyone to share it.
I mean the video artistry was… fine? If it wasn’t tied to unique vehicle packs for the weebier whales and had just been an anniversary thing, I might have enjoyed it for what it was. Tied in with this current package it just seems a little too lowest-common-denominator, though. But of course you’re not going to make art like that these days without trying to make money off it, too.
how these are over sexual?
it’s anime this is how some anime artwork is and it’s normal in west countries and EU to wear bikinis and this kind of clothing
these skin have only name on it i really don’t understand
that’s just a bikini top i see nothing wrong with it !?
that’s how female body is.
when i go to beach i wear bikini it’s normal thing where i live!
also she slayy
other people live in other countries and different cultures and religions i understand that part but you can’t force people to not buy or use them because if your cultures
What’s wrong with wanting to plaster a certain symbol over appropriate vehicles for that time frame ?
Last I checked, this game tries to be realistic by giving us as accurate as possible tank models, real life maps and stuff like that, so people wanting certain symbols in the game isn’t that awful of an idea.
It’s like you make a WW2 movie but with all icons and symbols that might offend someone, removed. Makes no sense to me.
A) not the hill im defending, so enjoy i guess? My position was always that dakis are historical; and WW2 pin-ups were also sexualized art so malding and seething about some anime tiddy is funny at least, sad at worst
B) if your issue is with ahistorical camos, I hope you will also oppose these camos with the exact same fervor, as none of these is historical:
Now that it’s well known that WT does these collaborations, we can start a serious collaboration with GUP since it has brought the passion for tanks to many people. 👀👀👀👀
