never had the redeem bonuses take time before, i shouldve expected it though

It’s not just about anime skins or decals existing in the game. We’ve had that kind of stuff before — avatars, camos, even weirder cosmetics — and most people didn’t mind. The issue is how it’s being done now. Locking them behind a €70 paywall, bundled with copy-pasted premium vehicles we already own, just feels like an excuse to resell the same content for full price.

What’s worse is that this game built its reputation on being a semi-realistic military simulator. Over time it’s drifted further and further from that identity, turning into something that feels more like a monetized mix of random collaborations than an authentic experience.

If they really wanted to do something for the fans of anime or crossovers, they could’ve offered the cosmetics separately, or made it part of a small, fun event. Instead, it comes off as a lazy cash grab — and that’s what most players are actually upset about.

And honestly, it’s starting to look more and more like Wargaming’s playbook with World of Tanks — the same pattern of overpriced reskins, recycled content, and aggressive monetization slowly taking over what used to be a passion-driven game.

A. It’s completely optional to purchase (or even see the anime stuff in game with the realism toggles)
B. It’s really not that deep lol

Agreed, tho still better than locking them behind region lock :/

I mean, it kinda worked, took me to the right screen and even sent an e-mail. It probably takes some time due to heavy traffic.

What bothered me about this whole thing is that the T-80 is supposed to be the T-80U-E1 which has a turbine engine, but in the trailer it has the T-80UD/T-64 engine sound.

Unacceptable.

This.
I feel like it is an issue that its literally just reskinned/slightly remodelled existing vehicles instead of being like the holiday skins.

Go look at the pack, it’s an virtually identical T-80UE1 without a camo net

Yeah, it’s optional — no one’s denying that. But just because something is optional doesn’t mean it can’t be criticized.

The point isn’t that people are being forced to buy or see it, it’s about the overall direction of the game. When every new addition feels like a quick cash grab or a way to repackage existing content, it chips away at what made the game unique in the first place.

And sure, maybe it’s “not that deep” if you look at just one update/collab — but taken as part of a bigger trend, it absolutely is. The constant shift toward monetized collaborations and overpriced bundles shows where the priorities are going, and that’s what long-time players are worried about.

I’m aware. What I’m saying is that it IS a T-80U-E1, but in the trailer it has the T-80UD engine sound, while it should’ve been a turbine sound, not the T-80UD/T-64’s vacuum cleaner sound.

I’m just nitpicking, don’t mind me :P

In the end, it’s all players’ fault that they buy such obvious C&P cash grab offers. Complaining about it doesn’t change a thing if no actions are taken to stop it.
