Because its supposed to be a semi-realistic military game. If you played the game at all back when it was ACTUALLY about what its advertised as, you know how badly it has gone downhill. Its not meant to be a gacha gooner game. I’m sure many people (me included) were already unhappy with the introduction of anime avatars, AI generated profile pictures, dakkimakuras, and the such. Now we’ve reached a point where they ask full price for the same thing. Is this what a “Realistic immersive military simulator” as they advertise it, seem like to you?
Re-read the announcement and see that 70-dollar anime camos are marked as fictionals.

You’re right. The 70$ gacha slop is considered “fictional” exactly like every other semi-realistic wtlive skin or marketplace skin that has ever possibly made it in there. So now if i want to have any level of uniqueness that isn’t gaijin’s base skins, i have to see all this gooner slop. Next to that the point is the fact that they’re still re-selling the same vehicles with literally no difference. So what you’re saying is this is acceptable but copy paste isn’t? Cmon man.
