The STB-2 (along with STB-1 to STB-6 irl) is the prototype for the Type 74.
While it’s not that unique, I still thought to include it in the list.
Game about realistic vehicles pushing out anime content, totally absurd behavior that players can’t control.
Those things should really fall under the “show historical content only” toggle.
Gaijin treats WTLive skins as fictional content, no matter what they represent.
It pretty much does count.
So GuP’s connection to the real life world of military vehicles and reality itself is the fact it’s plot has played out in a town that actually exists ? That’s really important and definitely makes the series much more “realistic”, making it a worthy addition to the game that’s supposedly about realism.

WTLive skins are applied ONLY for your client ingame tho if we talk about those downloaded and applied by you. And those which are added to the game via market are separated:

It is not? No one told you that user profiles will be realistic. Especially when they can use any nickname and a pool of pfp`s which is like early 2000s internet resource

AND they use real existing vehicles, yes. The entire anime is basically made for the weaboos like us who play “realistic” tank arcade shooter.
I don’t think that trailer was about realistic vehicles showcased there at all, they were just trying to sell anime slop.
Letting people use what they want opens a new can of worms.
So far majority of PFPs were depicting military personnel that actually look like that.
Anime, furry, Santa PFPs and the likes don’t belong in the same category.
So the connection is pretty unimportant, got it.
I haven’t watched the show so I can’t tell you how realistic it looks to me, but I doubt I’d be impressed with the realism. GuP is fiction and has no place in WT, but Gaijin seeks money over anything else so we might see something like that in the future.

Show itself is a cool arcade anime tho. Ngl they never positioned it as realistic tho so there are many unrealistic movements for example. Tho if we talk about
so then the GuP also utilizes realistic vehicles which look just beautiful AND realistic, even insides of the tanks do.
It does not mean everything other than that should be realistic tho)

What a pointless comment, when I’ve been talking about the player avatar which you see on the forum and in battle when you die/hover over a persons name in the score screen. Also the promotional trailer and the body pillow.
Honestly couldn’t care about the skin. That can be avoided with historical settings.
Body pillows are hidden by the Except Fictional setting. The trailer is not in-game. The profile pictures are just as historical as every other ‘special’ event profile picture like the various animal ones.
Cool story bro. Now tell Gaijin to actually make that feature work correctly.
