On April 29th 2026 a Instagram personality taskforcefumo who is known to post images of Shion Yorigami posted a video of Shion on top of a unknown APC during a USA Himars Rocket exercise. This would explode in the Touhou Project community as one would wonder the logic of brining a Goddess of Poverty and Misfortune to such a event due to the fact that misfortune is the last thing any wise person would want to bring upon ones self.

Shion Yorigami is a antagonist from the bullet hell video game Touhou Project who has the power of misfortune though these powers effect others they also equally effect her resulting in her predicament. Her goal in life is to rob others of their wealth though unsuccessfully in most cases.

Though because of the lore of Touhou Project the plushies are considered idols to the characters so whatever happens to the idols like use or popularity does effect the characters power rating. But bringing Shion to battle with you is maybe inviting a artillery misfire not her becoming the next Goddess of Rocket Artillery.

Why it should be added & How

As WarThunder is a team based battle game where a mix of factors come into play position, armor, skill, team members, speed, WIFI, ping, and the blessings of the two Gods of the game the Snail and the server Hamster. Fortune does play a small role in game if you believe in it so asking for misfortune on your opponents may be a half good idea until it bounces back onto you as it usually does. This 3D decoration all things considered was on top of a APC during a training mission and therefore historically accurate to boot documented as well in a video!

To keep things easy a unknown Goddess of misfortune plushy would be introduced into the decorations by event after using a promocode GIVETHEMMISFORTUNE!!! The mini event would have you be knocked out or crashed in ground battles like 50 times absorbing all of your bad luck at the game (not a skill issue). This legally distinct not a Shion Yorigami plushy would be called Goddess of misfortune and would be able to be placed on your tank like any other 3D decoration. But the biggest question being why would one bring a item of misfortune with them?

Now the question being Goddess of Misfortune or Goddess of Rocket Artillery?

I am reading the Touhou Project manga but I don’t understand how there godship lore fully works so what happens here?

The manga carries the whole project now because the maker of it cant draw so his followers bail him out and write the story now.

Or that’s what I have been told by all of my IRL friends

Been a bit since I’ve been big into Touhou lore, and godhood wasn’t something I fully covered, but basic lore is that things of myth can exist as long as people still believe in them. So an isolated area was made, with the humans there kept at a much lower tech level.

TLDR: As long as enough believe in them, they exist. (iirc anyways)

Its lore is not that deep its a it exists because it does. But meaning of a God in it can change which is where the whole Goddess of rocket artillery comes from here because lore wise Shion is evolving or that’s what reddit thinks. Then again Fate did take some stuff from Touhou apparently so I guess its well written enough.

I don’t care I just thought it would be funny and maybe if I am still here when this gets passed to the devs TheEuropeanCanadian will have to read it and that would be funny and the there Youtubers who cover the passed to the devs stuff.

Waiting for my Gundam post to get Passed to the Devs that will be funny during Gaijins monthly team Zoom meeting PowerPoint or however they handle it.

ZUN is famously pretty lax with the Touhou license, so it’s possible they could represent Shion, but might need a different kind of plushie to avoid conflict with Gift. It’d probably be safer for the devs to ask ZUN anyway.

Touhou only exists because of the lax nature of the Dev unlike cough cough Nintendo.

I have to say we seem to be in the middle of a meta reality where people have learned there actions = history therefore making noise art on a helicopter or fighter even for a second means its now “history”. Leaks are bad but it would be funny if some technician where to paint I don’t know paint Saber Artoria Pendragon on the side of a British Eurofighter Typhoon then take a photo then bag its history can be added to WarThunder as Knight Girl. Lol that would be dumb if someone did that but “its historically accurate”

Shion plushy is one of these dumb moments which makes it funny.
