I was recently playing in simulation mode with the Italian premium Sherman and noticed that the gun doesn’t appear in the gunner’s sight. I found this strange because this Sherman uses the same turret model as the M4A2 (75), and on that version, the gun is visible in the gunner’s sight. Here are two videos as examples:

Did you check if the gunner optics is in the same place in x ray view?
Yes, the option is enabled.
If you test drive the M4A2 75 and zoom all the way in the barrel disappears as well.

It’s not that terribly zoomed in. THere are way worse offenders for too zoomed in scopes
