Sherman Firefly in American TT

Will we ever get Sherman Fireflies in the American Tech Tree? I know Im asking the same question as like 2 other posts about the M4A3 (17-Pounder) to be added in the American tree and I would like to follow up the question. I wouldn’t mind if its a premium either so

But did the US actually use the Firefly? I though only UK, Polish, New Zealand and South African units used them…

They didn’t but they considered it and converted 80-88 M4A3 Shermans to carry a 17 Pounder after facing heavy loses to Panthers and Tigers in Battle of the Bulge

they had a limited number of specially built but canceled out after receiving 80 to 100 of them. England also ended up keeping about 20 of the US ones that where already converted, but the yanks decided they didn’t want.
Canada also used Fireflies and we know how much Gaijin loves to scatter their equipment into every TT.

Damn, I really want to see 30 Sherman after the M4 in the line
