Although the reality is that the Su-30 is just a beautiful aircraft, and the J-20 is so functional…
The Su-30 takes a more elegant design while the J-20 is more aggressive and hardened

Yes, but it seems similar design choice (wings configuration + canards) continue living and was reflected in J-20
Yes if u play low, if u try to climb, that is not enough to get u out of trouble. One reason F15 can climb is that it can just constantly throw chaffs and with that, I’ve had someone dodge 6 Pl12s within 10km range. With J11/J10, u run out of chaff, u die, never mind u can’t bring 72 chaff, I do 56 or 64 max.
J9 never had a proper design, at least not confirmed, that is just a speculated J8 but Canard.
Not exactly, different design cause the wings, engine and air intake config all got changed, since the fused intake will be better for lift as well as stealth.

The HQ-17 is confirmed for this update but we’re yet to see anything for the J-11B and J-10B, hopefully we’ll see more in tomorrows developer stream. I’d also like to recommend everyone who actually has sources on either the J-11B or J-10B to get ready to bug report the hell out of it as it’ll probably be entirely wrong initially in-game.
Rejoice anyways, no more playing the smelly J-11A with it’s N001 and SPO-15LM RWR.

They don’t show all the vehicles in the update in the trailers sometimes.
For example JH-7A was never shown in the update trailer but it was revealed in dev server.
Yeah, I’m still 99% sure it’s coming anyways as the Chinese leaker rarely ever misses and I don’t see them not adding the J-11B and J-10B this update anyways. I’m more curious about whether the PL-8B will be added or not (hopefully) as Gaijin has been a bit resistant about adding it for a while.
I’m mostly shocked that the F/A-18 hasn’t been added yet, Gaijin is missing out on a awesome addition.

Probably even they realize that US is way too strong on top tier with France, Britain, Italy and Germany lagging noticeably behind

Half decent chance they’re gonna do the gripen a thing and not give the j10a its pl8B’s so that they have different air to air loadouts.

Hopefully if other nations are receiving better ARH we’ll see PL-12A.
I am also hopeful to potentially seeing PL-11B on J-8F (not like it would affect gameplay).
I do wonder in which configuration they’ll ade J-11B? Block 1 (AL-31F), Block 2 (WS-10A) or later blocks.
