But as of now T has appeared on Liaoning and Shandong in the video of the dual carrier strike group.

both is T. they all use same planes, when CATOBAR components are not needed, it will be removed, but still same plane.

Yeah got it, somewhat confusing with J-15B always showing up with AL-31s and T with WS-10s, at least in Zhuhai. I did knew about the T standing for Catapult in Chinese but I guess these were two different projects at first, J-15B modernizing the J-15 base platform and the T simply testing CATOBAR and then merged together.

I’m asking for the picture of that section of the book since i only have the scans of the contents but not of the bibliography and index, I’ll get back to you once i have it.

what just the numbers and the numbers with a ‘B’ stand for.?

Numbers is just the count, B stands for the B variant which has the lighter radome.

it’s a days ago image, before the name announced, like I said B is an unofficially speculated name, before that you can call B or T as you like, so both name exists. but now, it’s official name was announced, so no longer B, only T.
it’s normal for Chinese army to use different engines, different engine doesn’t mean different plane.

Yeah i also thought initially that one was CATOBAR capable and the other wasn’t, the engine wasn’t the only difference i was afraid of. But yeah thanks for clarifying.

Okay okay, I’ve been watching the discussion for so long, and I just want to know if you guys have come up with any clear results? For example, is the J15B/T heavier or lighter?

I saw a frustrating inaccurate message on Chinese forums: there will be no J11B this year, so I pinned my hopes on the J15, after all, the SU30MKK radar is terrible.

J11B should be coming out with PL8B and python 4, so some suggests december although I will take it with a pinch of salt.

I already posted the images on the suggestion of the j-16 because I am stupid as balls and always forget this thread even exists, but has anyone posted this image of the fire snake pod and YINGS-III pod? I cannot find an image where it has more than what u see but hopefully gaijin will use their brain and decide that every pylon that can used laser guided weapons can also use that pod too.

And here some images of the pod that i did not see here (do not laugh at coRver, I already almost lost a lung at it)

I agree to the PL-5Ell. Very cool rockets, I’m sure they’ll be enough. It’s time to introduce competitive Flankers. J11B, SU27SM, and F18 of Germany, of course. I’m waiting for it all in December.

I just had a look into J15D, and I am kinda surprised that it has the little wings on the air intake, which are not present on any other J15 models or even later J11 models, any possible reasons?

it’s a electronic attack plane, like EA-18G, there are extra electronic devices antenna in the plane.

There are also significant differences in J-11B between different batches, such as the use of different engines. At the same time, someone mentioned in the suggestion section that the later J-11B (not BG) was equipped with PESA radar. Does anyone have any accurate information to prove this.

can the j-11b still carry russian missiles? (ATA)
