Only outside not insde apperently
Can someone check whether the PL-8Bs’ positions on the J-16 are correct? Below, I’ve be posting an image of the J-11B on the live server, and both inner PL-8Bs in the image are actually in different positions, making the right one appear more forward than the left.
Additionally, from the looks of it, the J-16 has inherited the wrong pylons (PF10) for the PL-12s on the developer server (from videos I’ve seen, correct me if I’m wrong), just like the J-11B on the live server.
Might’ve written that a little confusingly, but I’m specifically referring to the inner PL-8Bs, not the wingtip ones. If you look at the image I’ve posted, the left inner PL-8B sits slightly behind the blue line, whilst the inner right one comfortably touches it and is in line with the other outer PL-8Bs.
imma go ahead, considering the wingtip ones havent been fixed either, that that is still an issue aswell

I’m actually mistaken (partially), and you’re right. The PL-8B does have a placement issue, but it’s primarily with the left outer PL-8B rather than the inner ones (from what I can see). There also seems to be a slight deviation with the right outer PL-8B, but I can’t tell if that’s intentional, and I’m somewhat certain the inner PL-8Bs may be placed too far forward as well.

It wouldn’t matter if they added the J-16 or even a freaking J-1116 at this point. As long as we’re stuck with these garbage PL-12s and PL-12As, China’s top-tier jets are basically nothing more than flying drones — target practice for everyone else.
You give these missiles a datalink update on an enemy just 15 km away, and instead of going for the target, they decide to fly straight back to Hong Kong. Apparently, they’re homesick. They wave hello to the enemy on the way past and continue straight back to the motherland.
At 14.7 TOP TIER, we’d gladly take the SD-10. Hell, at this point we’d even settle for the R-27ER.
You can add whatever shiny new Chinese jet you want, but if you’re going to arm it with missiles that can’t reliably hit anything, what’s the point? It’s just another expensive flying target.

U mean missile with the largest overall drag force?
It’s not comparable to the new Aim-120 and R77-1. One has insanely low drag and one has insanely high acceleration.

I think the SD-10 is better, and if I remember correctly, I’ve also come across some analyses on the forum suggesting that it’s better.
