So the WS-10A weighs 1760 kg, even though it’s 49 kg heavier in-game — you get that from the thrust-to-weight ratio in the picture. I don’t know how much the WS-10B weighs, but Jane’s probably just carried over the WS-10A data. As for the AL-31F, I remember it’s 1570 kg in-game. If that TWR table is right, then the in-game AL-31F should weigh about the same as the WS-10A, around 1760 kg.
hmmm okay
WS-10B weighs the same as WS-10A 1795kg iirc
But the table above is in kN, so my calculation was still off. Recalculating, it does come out to 1795 kg. However, when converted to kgf, the in-game WS-10A thrust is still about 200 kgf less than the real one. Of course, I don’t know if that’s within game error tolerance. The WS-10B is in the same boat. (ws10a)132 kN × 1.12 = 147.84 kN = 15072 kgf - 7% (15072 kgf) = 14017 kgf - 13790kgf = 227kgf
attribute it to CL i guess
maybe…
Can confirm WS-10B series 3 is now on the J-16
so far seems to only be a name change
no has more thrust too if i saw correctly and J-16 got weight reduction to 17.9tons
we are so back, if the PL-12 changes go trough aswell even more so
also the 120A/B´s got a rework
and the 120C a drag buff
It doesn’t seem like it gained that much high or low speed thrust (only like 2%) however at mid speeds its like 5-10% more thrust, seems like its gonna be fairly good for dogfights.
pretty …But the default skin looks way too worn out… Gaijin always likes to make their vehicles look all old and beat up.😡
a question, how does the now J16 with WS10B Series 3 compare to SU30SM2 with his AL41F1S?
that’s lovely!
Is there any reason why it’s 17900 and not 17700
17900 is perfectly resonable.
And to answer the question there isnt any hard evidence its 17700
The WS10 weighs more than the AL31, maybe this
