it’s for balance, it’ll probably do better in the closer range than the other 2 pl-12s because it retains the old pl-12 flight characteristics but it’ll be nothing crazy for long range but this is just my predictions and assumptions.
The current PL-15 values from the files do not relate to the real missile.
I’m talking about how it may possibly be implemented in game.
PL-15 is not gonna be that crazy as there are no concrete motor stats, the missile is slightly longer but also weighs less then the PL-12AE, so there is a high chance its gonna have less fuel in-game thanks to the smaller weight and Dual-pulse.
So your solution is to ask gaijin to make up a radar that has beyond 90 degrees of gimbal to each side?
So the rafale players can ask for the same, so can the american players, and so on.
It doesn’t make sense man.
I don’t recall the Eagles or flankers having spherical RWR’s or MAWs just because the Rafale and Euros do, it’s simply because they don’t have that luxury IRL.

We have no reason to believe that the PL-15 differs significantly in maneuverability from the PL-12.

Anyways, I was hoping the J-16 would at least get the PL-9C. IIRC it doesn’t use PL-8? I could be wrong, would be nice to have a slightly longer ranged PL-8B.
