All I can find about any Su-35SM is on wikipedia saying it’ll have that new AESA radar.
Nothing about Izd. 177, the new HMD or the new HUD…
And I can only find it on Wikipedia.
Cuz in russia there is no such thing as Su35S”M”
There have been several modernizations of the su35s but the russians dont call everything M lmao.
All of that is just purely media bs.

SU-35 is genuinely gonna be the best addition for a fair amount of time, since its not completely unknown (stats wise) like the chn planes
At worst It’s gonna be a less draggy Su-30SM2 with less Countermeasures.

For example the recent latest su35s of last year, having new weapons and a upgraded avionics systems ( noted by OAK) still just called it Su-35S.
Also the S was just to differentiate it from the original 35, which was completely different the 35S. And S did not mean anything like as if it was some modernization or sort

I thought S just meant it was serial production, Like Su-27S, Su-27SM, Su-30SM, ect ect.

TBF there are different variants of the ER/R depending on what production batch they came from, there are some limitations that earlier er/r variants have that the later batches don’t. Though I don’t think there’s a difference in designation like 27er vs 27erm.

su-27m/su-37 is lighter than su-35s lmao, idk what he’s talking bout there.
Also su-27m/su-37 is faster than su-35S although it’s probably due to ram coating
