Not ignored anymore

yeah just saw that
Heres another rather minor issue
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/3FLOfnIMqFer

More j16 cockpit images from training video

I do wonder if those are adaptors for NATO standard countermeasures for customers with mixed fleets, without dimensions it looks like both the 2x1" and 1x1" standards you’d find in a ALE-47 for example.

They essentially are.
2x1 and 1x1 inch cms.

Community Bug Reporting System he better be able to cite the pic cause if it is AI we will have to cite pictures from now on (and i expect our chances to drop for a good PL-12A)

The image in this issue appears to be AI-processed. The PL-12AE model at the Zhuhai Airshow did not have a description card beneath it.

This is the display booth for the PL-12AE model at two different locations (photos taken by myself).

However, it’s important to note that the promotional video above the PL-12AE displayed an operational range exceeding 120 km, which cannot be achieved simply by extending the seeker’s battery life. To be honest, I really don’t want to see the PL-12A become the next AIM-120B in the game, as it would clearly suffer from insufficient thrust at engagement ranges around 20 km.

…why

stuff like amraam could go from 120km range to 250 km range if it had increased battery life

You can test it in game it kinematicly cant unlike the 120’s

The 120C does not simply increase its range by extending seeker battery life. It features noticeably reduced aerodynamic drag, clear off-the-rail maneuverability limits in its flight control system, a higher flight speed compared to the 120A/B, and improvements to its propulsion system, providing greater sustainment than the A/B variants.

To be honest, the in-game 3D model for the PL-12A is based on the PL12AE’s model.

The naming as “PL12A” is likely just Gaijin following the community manager’s logic—that the PL-12AE is merely a variant of the PL-12A—thus using the domestic “PL-12A” designation for non-export jets. This is similar to how the JF-17 uses the SD-10a in-game (where the in-game SD-10a is identical to the PL-12). However, the current PL-12A is essentially just a PL-12 (SD-10a) with a swapped model and a new seeker head.

Do have to point out that jeff uses the SD-10(A) and not the SD-10 (since the SD-10 is a different missile)

Thanks, I’ve corrected it.

So… are we just bound to get a PL-12 with… GNSS (pretty much useless) and no gimbal limit and thats it? no improved motor, no better agility, nothing? just a slightly heavier PL-12? great…

seems like it sadly, unless someone can find a statement from manufacturer that the bug report managers accept

I don’t comprehend the logic. I do understand that a edited photo is not a valid source, but speed was already accepted from a earlier issue

This will be fine for 120km statcard and 214kg, but motor? Nah.

Also made this, cause they forgot to add the double rack of the gnss only LS-6 250:

Has the KD-88A appeared in a airshow, or the export variant TL-17? (with description saying it is IR)
Gajing is not gonna accept logic, reasoning or sources that is most likely true, but they seem to accept airshow information.

Community Bug Reporting System

the website: https://m.163.com/dy/article/CI0JESGQ0517BR8G.html

claims it has 220 km range, warhead of 280 kg and has data link, ( but im unsure how they even got this information )

seems to match what other sources say
