Shenyang J-11, J-16, J-15, History, Performance & Discussion

Also, if gaijin gonna use this kind of model, we could cope for radar having angles of j-10c on last iteration of dev with 85 degrees to the side, which will be enough to play against even op sukhois or euros

Judging from its appearance, this radar seems to be KLJ7A

in terms of the j15, are we stuck with the 48 or less countermeasures? is there like any kind of Chinese counterpart to bol rails or any kind of hope?

48 for the J-15 and 15T and 30 for the J-15D if EW aircraft are ever introduced and no bol equivalents exist

That’s so low even with EW suite.

¯_(ツ)_/¯

Guess I’m gonna stick with J16’s and J-10’s.

are there any more advanced J11 or other single seat variants that could be added? All I can think of is the 11BG, which is just a J11B with asea radar right?

No, J11D only has a few test flight photos of the prototype without specific data, but from the photos, it seems that J11D has more green composite materials compared to J11B, which means it is lighter. However, no one knows how much lighter it is

Time for J-16 with 14+ missile loadout.

Irrc there is a mockup design that shows it can carry almost 20 missiles in theory, would be ultimate flanker.

In addition, the J-11D, like the J-16, Su-30, and Su-35, has added a pair of wing mounts

THIS?

It was scaled model more likely.

But i guess concepts are the same.

That model was self-made by military enthusiasts. Excluding various models and CG made by military enthusiasts, the only J-16 that has been released by relatively authoritative media using multi mount mounts is the one shown in the picture above

According to some semi official sources, there is an unwritten rule in PLAAF’s propaganda department that unless the protagonist of the promotion is ammunition, it is best not to film planes carrying ammunition. I don’t know if this rumor is true, but it is indeed difficult to see fully loaded PLAAAF fighter jets in various official promotions. This is really bad news for WT players

To be honest, for these cutting-edge aircraft that lack information, gaijin should design the mounting of the aircraft based on the technical feasibility according to the attitude of Japan’s KH38. Since the mounting points of J16 can use these missiles, and these missiles have compatible multi mount mounts, as long as the space and weight do not exceed the limit, J-16 can completely mount more missiles, because technically speaking, this is completely feasible

Thinking it’ll have anything but 12 (8ARH+4IR) is just setting yourself up for dissapointment.

There are no dual pylons for domestic Chinese flankers and no the scale models and CG images dont prove anything

And more powerful engine.

The weight reduction achieved through composites is limited. The more significant weight savings in the J-11B and J-15 primarily came from advancements in integrated frame manufacturing processes. The latest technology in this area is the use of 3D printing/additive manufacturing for primary airframe structures, a technology it’s highly unlikely the J-11D has incorporated.

You should know that Thailand’s KH38 doesn’t even have scaled models or CG images. In my opinion, the technical feasibility of providing dual pyrons for J-10 fighter jets to Chinese flankers is much higher than that of providing KH38 for Thailand’s SU30
