Like late PD radars are still incredibly powerful, F15Es can still be a menace. Same goes for F15C, and compared to F15 J11B should have more missiles as well as better T/W ratio. Should be good for 14.0. PL8B will help as well.
I will do even with AL31. Obviously WS10 is highly desired but at this rate I don’t think that I will be able to do F15E or EF2K stuff with PL12s, not with 96CMs anyways.
I mean, theyre lock strength is fine, but I play sim, so other things are very important, like search speed, search volume, and TWS stability. The ESA’s in-game all crush all the mech scans in all those aspects. The gimbal limits should still be good tho.
IDK about any of that, basically don’t use anything but HMD at this rate cause everything else is so inconsistent.
If they ship this J-11B without an ESA radar then they could’ve added it back in Air superiority and no one would bat an eye, if ESA radars are the standard then China’s mass adoption of them should be represented in game

I’m quite excited about the PL12 and PL8B on the J11B, will be nice to do BVR on a flanker again, and aaah I’ve been waiting so long for the PL8B

We have stuff that say there is a better motor in place, I think it is in another thread, someone’s master degree paper revealed there are improvements on the engine as well.
Can’t check myself, but if they don’t protrude beyond tails they are %100 WS-10’s. If they do though, it could be either AL-31F or WS-10.
The exhaust looks very much like WS-10, can’t find a picture yet but looks promising

yes it’s for sure!! I would even say the WS10A (123 kN-132kn depending on the start and end of production versions), version which is more powerful and which is on the production versions of the J11B, the WS10 (123 kN) was a test engine on the pre-production J11B

Also, it a side note and some of you might it already know, but seems like radar patterns are fixed, it doesnt scans top and bottom line twice
