Shenyang J-11, J-16, J-15, History, Performance & Discussion

Btw, I forgot about the naval version of the 11BG.
Then one J-11 as 14.0 with PL-12, and the second as 14.3 with the PL-12A

How I would arrange Chinese fighters in the future:
J-11B, J-10A, J-15 this starting point - 13.7
J-10B, J-11BG, Su-30mk2(+ RVV-SD) = +0.3 BR(14.0)
J-10C(6x PL-12A), J-11BGH(+PL-12A), JF-17 blk3(+PL-15) = +0.7BR(14.3)
J-11D(PL-15), J-15T(PL-15), J-10C in TT(8x pl-15) = +1.3 BR(15.0)
j-16(pl-17) = +2.0 BR(15.7)

seems alright but I don’t see why the MK2 would get R-77-1 without a corresponding radar upgrade

Hasn’t the Chinese Su-30Mk2 been spotted with RVV-SD a couple of times?

Yes.

I think it’ll be 14.3 with pl-12a and later update to pl-15 whenever they feel like adding something more. Maybe pl-17 as well idk about that missiles compatibility though.

Also, what makes j-11bg lower br than bgh when both of them are essentially the same airframe if I remember correctly with their only difference being one for air force and one for navy

J-11D only has WS-10A so it would be kinematically worse then the 11BG

Yes, that would be nice

Because:

I think it would be useful to have two J-11s with AESA in the TT at different BR with different PL-12 version

yeah BHG and BG are the same par camo

sad
I thought they already installed WS10B

it was a testbed that only ever had WS-10A afaik

it might be lighter because its a complete redesign afaik but this is me speculating

Then the J-11D is useless for the TT

I thought this was on MK2
Well, anyway, MK2 for TT with RVV-SD and wide frequency YJ-91 would be an interesting addition for Nuclear Thunder

In addition, it must have an ASM, unlike an MKK

Maybe can, but I doubt this will happen though…(I might be proven wrong)

I hope will be cool event plane in the next few years, just as a collectors item.

I went and asked a rather reputable person about it, seems to just be an RVV-AE

is RVV-SD, you can tell by the rear

SD is rounded
AE is flat

that is a normal r77 after looking at the image

the nozzle is too big releative to the missile to be a RVV-SD

it might look like a 77-1 bc of the perspective

not like this really matters anyways since we all know that gaijin dosent want to give the Su-30MKK the 77-1

Hello, Did KJ8602 always had ±30 coverage? Wasn’t that -+45 or do i remember wrong?

was changed last major only J-10C and J-15T were spared (also reason why the 10C´s RWR was renamed)

Deino said it’s the RVV-AE and I’m inclined to believe him, given that he’s literally a professional at this

the RVV-AE is the export version of the R-77

that is exactly what i have been saying

the RVV-SD is the export version of the R-77-1
