This is true.
On an unrelated note, I hope that they add the J-10B variant with TVC as well.
Only Chinese planes with TVC will either be that, or Su-35S which China bought.
Has all the Su35S been delivered yet? I don’t really know how much the PLAAF expected out of Su35 cause obviously in terms of avionics there is likely nothing they will get, the only thing I can think of is in fact TVC, which is sort of abandoned by PLAAF.
All Su-35S have been delivered and are being used to patrol SCS.

Funnily enough, this livery is actually in the game, available for purchase to equip J-11 and J-10A.
There are only 24 Su-35S in service with China, part of the 6th Aviation Brigade based in Guangdong.
Su-35S has flown against Chinese fighters in DACT, and have brought valuable experience to other PLAAF pilots.
In general, think of Su-35S as a friendship deal to show ties between Russia and China, but of course China was interested in AL-41F1S engine as well. I think one of the reason is for PLAAF to consider how viable thrust-vectoring technology is for the modern battlefield, and its strengths + weaknesses.
China thought that Irbis-E was good performing radar, probably the pinnacle of PESA technology.
In general though, China already has roughly comparable domestic Flankers and don’t see the need to procure mass amounts of Su-35S, or else they would be reliant on Russia.
Regarding armaments, it’s still R-77-1s right? or did they get any more advanced stuff.
Did China buy R-77-1? Then yeah, it can carry that.
Su-35S in Chinese service has not been integrated with PL-10 and PL-15.
Also, this apparently the AESA radar antenna of J-16.
Some say that it is designated Type 1493D, but I think it is strange since it doesn’t seem to share any elements with Type 1493 on the J-11B. Maybe the transmitter?
But this would suggest that it is a product of the 14th Institute based in Nanjing.
Apparently it has 1760 TRM modules.
That is a flat piece of antenna, but didn’t your photo in J10 not match this cause the way the antenna T/R units are packed are different.
I think this is what it looks like fully.
This is the best I can find for now, sorry.
what are the differences between the russian and chinese su-35s? do the chinese ones get r-37s?
Also, where do you guys get high quality photos of chinese/russian flankers? looking to add some high quality photos for a good wallpaper
I don’t think they get R37s, not necessarily even R77-1s, pretty much a ‘friendship’ deal, and they are mainly used for patrols and trolling with US spy aircrafts.
They also participate quite a bit in exercises such as Golden Helmet.
Also, Flanker flight model is a complete fantasy ingame, very horrible.
J-16 would never be able to fly like this if the current flight model remains and it is added. Gaijin needs to change it.
I’m not familiar with Russian missiles
Is this export version of R-77-1? What is the difference compared to RVV-AE?
yep
Range and weight
I see.
Is there any difference to the Su-35S sold to China compared to those in the Russian Air Force?
China has Su-35, not Su-35S. I don’t know how they differ specifically yet.
I see.
The day the J11B is implemented in the game, do you think gaijin will give it the PL15? Will the PL15 be viable for high BR gameplay, won’t it break the gameplay? Personally, I think that since we already have Fakour 90 at a lower Br, the PL15 could be in play for Br 14.0, it will be a dual-propulsion missile that greatly increases the range but the evasion maneuvers are the same for all types of fox 3, that’s why I think this missile could be in play with the J11B and what do you think?
