Ki-67 Otsu and B6N2a Model 12Ko should also have A2S radars I believe, for that one you can ask Grzegames since he churns out an incredible amount of suggestions, maybe he has a spare document or 2.
Also M.B.175T has a radar, in fact you can see the dish because of the clear nose.
Really hyper to see more modeled tools for these aircraft, im sure Sim players would enjoy to just level out, sit back and just need to keep an eye out for a ping.
No need to open the map so much.
I assume their documents would be in japanese and french, which i cannot read
PBJ-1J and PBJ-1H Missing Radar reports got rejected.
Impressive seeing there is an ENORMOUS bulge on the wing tip of each aircraft made for patrol.
SAC for PBJ-1J mentions AN/APS-3 radar on page 2: https://web.archive.org/web/20220707155341/http://alternatewars.com/SAC/PBJ-1J_Mitchell_ACP_-_1_March_1945.pdf

SAC for PBJ-1H mentions radar on page 2:

SAC is a primary source, so one for each model should be sufficient in the new report.
There is a bit of a problem with the PBJ-1J SACs though. They seem to be for the glass-nosed versions with just 6 MGs, while the PBJ-1J version we have in game is the solid-nosed version with 12 MGs. Might need an alternative source for that version. The PBJ-1H one should be fine.

this made me laugh out loud
Thank you very much for these sources!
as for the PBJ-1J, the radars were carried on the wingtips so i doubt there would be much difference with them
I dont think they would accept the source for the PBJ-1H since which radar it carried is not specified
The PBJ-1J Document also says it could carry external bomb and rocket mounts, interesting.
And thats its missing ordance, like the capability to carry more bombs and a torpedo
It appears a bug report was already accepted on the missing ordance about 2 years ago…

The PB4Y-2 also has an open bug report about missing ordance, could people reading this please mark that youre having the same issue?

Now theyre claiming the AN/APS 3 is a navigation radar

That’s… partially true. It has navigation capability, but it was primarily built as a surface search radar, and we do have radars in the game that only have sea search mode without air-to-air capability, e.g. AN/APS-31 on PBM-5A and AN/APS-4 on the Mosquito FB Mk VI ASH and Mosquito TR.Mk.33.
Per AN/APS-3 section, Part Two Radar Systems, “RADAR BULLETIN NO. 2 A (RADTWO A) THE TACTICAL USE OF RADAR IN AIRCRAFT”:
Depending upon the character of the radar echo spots, the screen display can be interpreted to indicate land masses, islands, coast line, harbors, rivers, airports, and surface ships. [emphasis mine]
The link to the overall resource is HyperWar: The Tactical Use of Radar in Aircraft--Radar Bulletin No. 2A (RADTWOA) and the link to the section on the AN/APS-3 is at HyperWar: Tactical Uses of Radar in Aircraft (RADTWOA) [Part II] . I think this is a primary source, so it should also suffice on its own.
(sigh… gonna be another report… third time’s the charm?)

Theyll find another reason to reject but ill try making another one
rejected again, i give up
if this is rejected we will need to look for a soviet aircraft with a A2S radar.
Maybe try to look into the lend lease PBY-5A Late.

The Pe-2, Pe-3 and possibly lend lease a20 possibly had them

would you look at that
Didn’t know Peshkas had those, question is where since the nose seems incredibly hollow and the fuel tank and miserable gunners positions seem very cramped already.
I believe the versions we have ingame did not have them though same with the a20
