Its weird because i think the AN/APS-4 is in game which is just a slightly more advanced version iirc
Isn’t that one found on the Mosquito FB Mk VI ASH, right? In-game, it’s perfectly capable of detecting and tracking ground targets like tanks. How curious…

A2S radars are found in the next set of aircraft, they mark AI units no matter if on land or sea but they still exist currently:

They have indeed been added and any excuse of “not possible” is now redundant
These two images are just the same, its so difficult to distinguish the two from one another!
The point is that it should detect ship targets while also giving the radar ground clutter.
They choose not to model it currently.

Have you tried contacting Smin or some other mods? They might be able to help, either with the passing or explaining further why they wont pass it.
they will probably give the same answer as the bug reporting manager
My suggestion is that you send a pm to smin to clarify things before you waste more time doing reports. The CBR managers are really frustrating to deal with, and doing reports sometimes feel like running head first into a brick wall several times over.

the did add a sea radar dome on the first lancaster but the radar itself isn’t model so i’m assuming it was done to nerf the flight model of the lanc

A small number of Halifax and Stirling (IRL) were fitted with a system visually similar to the the bulge on the Lancaster mk1 (in game) called the H2S, from what I know it was more intended as a bombing and navigation aid than for finding targets. Although, a sharp bump in the middle of the ocean would be easily recognised as a surface ship.
(Edit: the H2S was usually installed on the Lancaster, I just saw a lot more photos of the more specialised versions of the Lancaster that usually didn’t have the H2S installed. Like the special or PR mods.)
