Shackleton doesnt have a radar. It had a radar for boats and submarines, i think they didnt add it this because they werent ingame yet when the shackleton was added, but i think its time that it gets a radar. I have filed a bug report alongside it.
Community Bug Reporting System -Shackleton accepted
Community Bug Reporting System -PB4Y-2 accepted

Other aircraft that had Sea searching radars that dont have them yet
Sunderland
Brigand B 1 (unsure)
M.B.175T (Unsure)
B6N2A Model 12Ko (unsure)
Ki-67 Otsu (unsure)
This list would grow if they ever added mountable radar pods as a modification

Finally someone will start to make reports, I’d love to see more of the A2S radars modeles, specially on aicraft like the PBJs and french PBY.
Im sure there are lots of aircraft I didn’t mention in WT too.
Did stuff like PB4Y recieve these too?
What would be their purpose? IRL they were for searching the horizon for masts and periscopes. IWT all vessels are marked and targetable so the radar is pretty useless unless they also overhaul the identification mechanics to be more like sim.
Also submarines are coming soon
In WT they simply mark AI units (never took one to tank battles or naval battles so idk if they work on players)
But yeah, you can tilt them down and scan the surface without needing to keep an eye on the ground, and focus if enemy aircraft are nearby.
ASV MK13 radome - It could detect a destroyer at a range of 40 nautical miles (46 mi; 74 km), a surfaced submarine at 20 nautical miles (23 mi; 37 km), and a submarine’s conning tower at 8 nautical miles (9.2 mi; 15 km), although rough seas considerably reduced the radar’s effectiveness.
The MPA is missing some of its naval ordnance too.
It had the ability to carry sonobuoys (droppable sonar equipment) and could participate in electronic warfare at sea.

They have ignored my bug report since its not a modern (or russian 👀) vehicle

To be fair even if it was russian the fact it is both TT and low tier at that would have stopped it anyways.
either that or they accept and only add it 3 years later like with the extra bombs for the skyraider

Ki-67 Otsu and B6N2a Model 12Ko should also have A2S radars I believe, for that one you can ask Grzegames since he churns out an incredible amount of suggestions, maybe he has a spare document or 2.
Also M.B.175T has a radar, in fact you can see the dish because of the clear nose.
Really hyper to see more modeled tools for these aircraft, im sure Sim players would enjoy to just level out, sit back and just need to keep an eye out for a ping.
No need to open the map so much.
I assume their documents would be in japanese and french, which i cannot read
PBJ-1J and PBJ-1H Missing Radar reports got rejected.
Impressive seeing there is an ENORMOUS bulge on the wing tip of each aircraft made for patrol.
SAC for PBJ-1J mentions AN/APS-3 radar on page 2: https://web.archive.org/web/20220707155341/http://alternatewars.com/SAC/PBJ-1J_Mitchell_ACP_-_1_March_1945.pdf

SAC for PBJ-1H mentions radar on page 2:

SAC is a primary source, so one for each model should be sufficient in the new report.
There is a bit of a problem with the PBJ-1J SACs though. They seem to be for the glass-nosed versions with just 6 MGs, while the PBJ-1J version we have in game is the solid-nosed version with 12 MGs. Might need an alternative source for that version. The PBJ-1H one should be fine.
