After the Leviathan update, I started noticing very blurry and low-resolution ground textures at long distances while playing on my iMac 2023 (macOS, Retina display).
This issue was not present before the update — distant terrain looked clear and sharp. Now it appears smudged and muddy, especially on hills and flat ground textures. Nearby objects and textures look fine.
My system:
iMac 2023 (Retina)
Resolution: 2240×1260
Texture Quality: High
Anti-aliasing: FXAA HQ

I also tried editing config.blk with the following parameters:
This improved things slightly, but distant terrain is still heavily blurred.
My FPS is around 51, which is lower than before the update as well.
Has anyone else on macOS experienced this after the update? Any suggestions or temporary fixes?
I’ve also submitted a support ticket, but I wanted to share this here in case others are affected too.
Somewhat glad too see that i am not the only one with this issue although hope too see it get fixed soon.
Prior to the update my distant ground textures were also of a sharp and high quality even when running the game on around medium settings, now following the update i have tried almost every variation of graphics settings to try and optimise the ground textures although nothing seems to change them, this includes ground textures that range from approximately 40-50m onwards.

I often just run the game on its own with no background applications operating, or if so as minimal as possible.
Unfortunately i am unaware of any suggestions or fixes to date but simply look to share my similar or in this case EXACT same issue post update, I do hope there is an update or fix for this soon as without distant ground textures well rendered the game feels largely unfinished.
I have exactly the same issue, FPS drops regularly while in battle ( I play in Ground Battles ), and graphism / texture are very affected, I have different colors appearing at long distance, looking like rainbow colors on the ground, even in the hangar and of course in battles, it’s hard to explain.
And there’s another bug, I know it has nothing to do with graphism but it’s interesting to point it out since I haven’t seen any post talking about it ; The Gneisenau that has been added in this update is equipped with 3x2 380mm guns when in reality it was 3x3 280mm guns …
