You say the Pantsir is trash, but it’s the only SPAA capable of tracking multiple targets at once — aircraft, missiles, bombs, helicopters. The reason all allied aircraft fly low is because of it. If NATO had an anti-air system with the same mechanics as the Pantsir, I doubt Su-34s and Su-30s would be flying in a straight line to launch their Kh-38s, then casually returning to base to rearm or camp the enemy airfield.
You say they would switch to laser-guided targeting — well, that would actually be a good thing for NATO, since they wouldn’t have to deal with constant Kh-38 spam. After all, they’d have to keep a target locked on sight

Other than the video, Mavs having less explosives as KH38 plays a huge role whether the target going to die or does it need a straight hit in order to get that kill.

Lets also not forget that the Kh-38ML are significantly cheaper than MTs. On the Su-34 it might be an issue to use because of no thermals but the Su30 makes them really deadly.
You could spawn in the Su30 with MLs, get 3-6 kills, then spawn in the Su34 with MTs
Negative, I don’t record footage as is, and I didn’t feel it was notable when I can test it again at any time for changes to the APS.
The APS has only intercepted a Kh-38, and SPIKE at this stage.

The reason CAS is OP is because it’s unkillable, not because of its speed.
If CAS was OP because of its speed, its spawn points would be closer to 600 and not close to 1000, 1000 means they’re surviving multiple sorties.

The Pantsir is incapable of fragging any top CAS in War Thunder.
And a number of CAS platforms have more ordnance than the Pantsir has missiles.
If NATO had the Pantsir, the Su-30SM would still never die.
Python 5 SPYDER is needed, not more Pantsirs.

Think of it like this, if they shoot off a laser guided agm, they’d have to stay within the angle of the targeting pod. If they had to go defensive because of SPAA or aircraft, they’d loose the target.
But with ML, at least it’s vulnerable to amraam. It can’t fly straight for long periods of time and guide their MLs.

F-15E has 20 glide bombs, A-10C has 24.
Both of which show up on the Pantsir radar and are heading directly toward it; disabling the Pantsir for over a minute as it needs to deal with those in some form.
It only takes 20 seconds to do a CAS run.
There’d need to be 3 Pantsirs to deal with 1 F-15E or A-10C salvo, that’s why I intend to get the A-10C, not to be serious CAS, but to be the SPAA shutdown service in preparation for new SPAA this year.
Cause if it’s successful against Pantsir [which it is from the 3+ hours of testing in custom matches], think how successful it’ll be against other SPAA not added yet.

And regarding OP: You’re right for the most part. Top tier has been severely mistreated for at least an entire year, and the reason i’m just playing ARB. I know it has been battered as well, but it’s playable enough to be enjoyable with the right tools.
