The speed test shows that I have 830 Mbps download speed per second, with 147 Mbps upload speed per second, which makes it impossible, even when playing with European or American servers, for me to stay above the acceptable ping limit. On the American server, I usually get between 140 PING, and on the European server, I usually get between 180 and 200, or 230 on rainy days.
My connection is no excuse for experiencing losses with Gaijin’s American server, much less a reason for having all my crews blocked, preventing me from playing or finishing the event faster.
I’m starting to get really annoyed with the connection problems with Gaijin’s servers, to the point where not only do you crash during a match you’ve just started with your vehicle, but after two minutes you’re sent back to the hangar due to a loss of connection.
The worst part is seeing that your entire crew from all the other ships is BLOCKED for a while, for a reason that isn’t even your fault!
Do we really need infantry mode for War Thunder? Why not fix the problems we’ve been reporting for years during our spare time spent playing this game?
I’m completely exhausted. I earned 9 stars on every vehicle in the event while dealing with these issues and with over 240 ping as a South American player. Seeing that the team prefers to focus on infantry mode for 2026 instead of fixing server issues, among other things reported by the community, is downright frustrating.
We had a wonderful 2025 despite the issues with the game, incredible new agile vehicles, and highly anticipated ships that still need some attention to be 100% correct.
But one problem that has been intensifying and that everyone here has complained about at one time or another in any other forum topic is never actually solved. Lost connections are absurd in any game, especially when it’s not the player’s fault or their network service.
Delay the infantry and its development a little longer, release this at the end of 2026, but focus exclusively on fixing the network connection problem with the servers and players.
It is unacceptable for a company of this size with a lucrative internal market not to provide the service of maintaining the line that keeps players in their respective battles.
