My av-8b na turns quite well, I was keeping up with an F-5E and then I did this near trick where I went into hover mode and he couldn’t turn in enough then he ate an Aim-9L
And they are underperforming like crazy.
There is a reason why IRL the Sea Harrier FRS1 absolutely destroyed F-5Es in 1v1 dogfights but in-game its the reverse.

Harrier 1s =/= Harrier IIs.
Harrier 1s should probably perform more like the Harrier IIs do, and the Harrier IIs should perform even better.
F-5s have 2-3 deg/sec too much STR. Harriers have 2-3 deg/sec too little. They should litereally swap their current STRs. This is also not factoring the fact that VIFF actually isnt modeled. It doesnt actually do 99% of what it should due to game limitations.
The F-5 eating a 9L though shows a clear skill issue on the part of the F-5. That should have been an easy 1 flare defeat
