You said both it and the opposite at the same time:
“Player skill is not lopsided by nation per se” is you saying there is not player skill difference by nation
“vehicles in higher population nations to gain advantage of vehicles that’s BRs get missed because strengths of said vehicles get hidden by terrible use of said vehicle” is you saying player skill IS lopsided by nation, since there’s no other possible reason some nations would “use it terribly” while others don’t.
Was how it was percieved in game, and that was also with stats to back up its strengths at the time (hard to find real stats outside Thunderskill which is severely limited). So here even though the stats appeared needing a BR move up it didn’t for YEARS and this has only just happened in 2023… Just like the Wyvern only moving to 4.3, when I bought it it was 4.7 but bad use puts it to 4.0 “stat wise” yet EVERYONE knows how strong that plane is and a half brained person can wreck the enemy team in one, just most use it for a bomb drop and quit as you can keep positive SL in it and RP gain is still great.
The thing is you don;t really have any evidence it DOES work as it is, and discounting maybe the more extreme voices, people are constantly critical of BR placements. Wyvern is a perfect one since I don;t think anyone every defends it.
That “overall” Player skill does not transfer in battle to battle but the big picture that never really plays out fairly within individual matches as there are so many variables. AB is structured very differently.
The players that got vehicles there BRs in these minor nations have moved past them and new players avoid them, so they stay as they are stat wise (generally, like I say just Minors alone to about mid BR is A LOT of vehicles to consider).
Again, you are of your opinion it works, a LARGE number of people don’t seem to (on about the forums over years, not just now and our convo).

It isn’t but I have spent enough time in battles over many years to see what goes on in battles at various BRs (barring 7.0+ as most did not exist when I started and is like a different game).

Remember what happened recently when you pissed off the player base and got review bombed, Gaijin. Wouldn’t want to see that again
The wyvern is a premium pack plane. Gaijin has a clear incentive to lie about that one’s performance / put their thumb on the scales of the BR algorithm.
The jumbo, the M26, etc. are NOT premiums (nor is there any question of modern Russian propaganda or anything like that like people sometimes accuse). So there is no incentive for them to be lying or putting their thumbs on the scales. So they most likely are not doing so. Even if arguably in the case of the jumbo, the cobra king is the reason the jumbo’s BR is affected, in this case, it’s going up against most people’s intuition, which is the opposite of the monetary incentive for Gaijin for a premium. So still doesn’t make sense motivation wise.

Gaijin said it does + nobody can name any plausible incentive at all for them to lie for non premium WWII vehicles (which I specified at the very top of the discussion for this reason) = Evidence enough for a video game discussion.
People don’t just randomly lie to customers for no reason at all. It’d be a huge liability. They might risk it if they gained something major in exchange, but not just for no reason, that would be super dumb.

Of course it does, if I give you a bucket with 1,000,000 blue gumballs and 2,000,000 red gumballs, and you pick out 16 of them, you’re going to tend to get things like 6 and 10 or 7 and 9 or 5 and 11. Obviously it’s not 100% guaranteed that every match will follow the trend of the team averages, but MOST of them will.
Again it seems pretty darn obvious, like before, that you’re completely aware player skill is lopsided by teams but are just refusing to agree to this rather obvious/simple fact for some reason. I can’t really work out why.
And manipulating matchmaking won’t help here. Even if they try and put skilled people together from both nations, they would quickly run out of equivalent skilled people on the less skilled nation, and then need to put everyone else SOMEWHERE. So that wouldn’t help this. There’s no real getting around it, OTHER than handicapping by BR
i think the Strv 104 should be put at 8.3 not 8.7 because how under-performing it is, its basically a weaker S’hot kal gimel on steroids, its ERA doesn’t cover the turret sides, UFP have 21mm less than it, etc.
If your going to put the panzer iv/70 v up to 5.7 how about you give it the sights it originally had?? Same as the Jadgpanzer G1 can we have it back as it was a couple of years ago when it was a later model and you could use it as it was used in the war? AND PLEASE STOP SHRINKING THE MAPS…its really f$%^&*( the game
