Move the Israeli F-16 Netz down asap. The Python 3s are not equivalent to IRCCM missiles. It does not belong at a BR where it faces ARH with no radar guided missiles of its own. This is pathetic gaijin.
I also faced an F-5C, which was weird considering it is 11.0 now. Did it not move, or did the GRB Brs mess something up?
I agree. The F-100 is the least offensive supersonic plane, and the Mig-19 isn’t as big of an issue as an F-104 is.
It gets 13.0 because all F-16As except for the baseline US F-16A (which got 12.7, because it is limited to AIM-9Ls, I guess) and the Belgian F-16A (which got 13.3 because of the AIM-9Ms). At its new BR it is no different than at its old BR.
Getting more seperation between these F-16s and the BVRAAMs would require even more decompression or the sensible decision to make the matchmaker not match BVRAAM planes with non-BVRAAM planes
The Netz (and other non-BVRAAM F-16s) would have to go down to 12.3 to stop them from being matched with the new top tier. Won’t happen.
Not sure why exactly the baseline F-16A got 12.7, while the Netz got 13.0, but being 12.7 as well doesn’t change anything about the fact that it gets matched against the new top tier.

I was really excited when I heard you guys would be raising the max BR to 13.7.
I was thinking “FINALLY some decompression for the phantoms and viggens” but nope, you just made it all way way way worse. and REALLY!!?!?! f16A to 13.0? you’re kidding right? that’s gonna be such hopeless plane to play now, it doesn’t have enough countermeasures to deal with 13.7 planes, and it doesn’t have good radar missiles to compete with anything.
These changes were done way too hastily and seemingly with 0 thought put into them.
Please, listen to your community, we play the game, we know how these planes work. And we’re gonna be suffering for a month cause of these rushed changes.
In my opinion, F-4D and F-4E Phantom II from USAF only equipped early laser designator targeting pod and deployed early laser guided bomb (Paveway I) in vietnam war
Mate, the F-16A still gets matched against the same planes as before. A decompression by just 0.7 BR doesnt offer enough room to seperate non-BVRAAM planes from BVRAAM planes.
In fact, the seperation of the BVRAAM planes shouldn’t happen in the form of BRs anyways, it should be in the form a matchmaking change. Literally just don’t let non-BVRAAM planes into BVRAAM matches.

i have been playing the kumass and the amount of poor f4cs and Xs’s i have killed is unatural, this changes are very awfuly made
You know their balancing is quite weird, so people are using the F-5C as B-17, which may have caused the “statistic” to makes having same BR with F-5E that people are actually using as a fighter.

but yeah you’re right, the f16 still fights basically the same stuff it did before. except for the Belgium f16A it’s FREAKING 13.3!!! no radar missiles at all. unbelievable.

gaijin once again showing they are absolutely tone-deaf to the issues of the game and while the initial idea behind these BR changes is good, the implementation suggest they not enough thought has been put into it.
that F-4C BR is just the most obvious example but overall there has been a compression of planes with big performance differences, like the now 12.7’s/13.0 with basic SARH missiles, or no SARH missiles for planes like the F-16A’s, still facing FOX-3’s and arguably even more now since these former 12.0/12.3’s being pulled down into what was the highly populated 11.0/11.3 area anymore.
gaijin, please hire some professionals. we are begging you.
its 2024. T-2 and mig-19 can dodge and can use rockets as flares. just try

I can’t talk about the F-4C, but an increase to 10.3 would definitely have been justified.
The F-16 tho, as I have already said, still meets exactly the same planes as it did before.
Why is the Netz at the same br AS the Gripen and F16Am having only phytons instead of the way better 9m
Thank you for increasing the BR levels; now almost all T8 aircraft are excluded from the Air Assault (and yes, there are players who liked to play this mode!)
If I can’t use the planes anyway, then I don’t need to play WarThunder anymore!

10.3 would have been fine yeah, 10.7 is not.
since the F-4C isnt bringing anything with it that would put it on paar with things like the Mig-21SMT in performance.
much worse dogfight performance, lower top speed, much heavier, much worse missiles(AIM-9E’s vs R-60’s), no countermeasures for the F-4C vs 64 countermeasures for the Mig-21SMT.
all that while the F-4C’s SARH missiles, the AIM-7D, arent particularly good, certainly not good enough to equal out its massive shortcomings compared to other current 10.7’s, let alone 11.0 and 11.3 planes it will now face much more often.
and yes, for the F-16 nothing really has changed, even though decompression was the purpose of these BR changes, hence my point that the implementation of this has been awful again.
