Very happy to see the 10.0 hotspot getting decompressed and looking forward to play the new 11.3 lineup.
However, 12.0-13.0 ended up getting way more compressed than it was before and a lot of the concerns raised in the thread about the BR changes didn’t get adressed either:

F-5E and F-5E FCU: The F-5E FCU should have gone up to 11.7 and the F-5E should have gone to 11.3 like originally planned. Now the F-5E and F-5A/C share the same BR despite the E clearly being a big upgrade over the A and C.

Sea Harrier FRS.1: The early variant going up by one step is understandable, but why would the late variant go up by two steps if the only difference between the two is 2 AIM-9Ls. Meanwhile the A-10A early and late are still just one BR step apart.

Mirage 2000D-R1: This definitely isn’t a 12.3 plane, it doesn’t get any SARH missiles. The additional CMs and the improved RWR do not make up for this and therefore the D-R1 shouldn’t be on the same BR as the C-S4 and C-S5.

F-4EJ: This plane is clearly inferior to the US F-4E and the Kurnass in every single way, why do they all share the same BR?

However, let’s take a look at comparable machines in the current environment.
JAS39A, Sea Harrier FA2, AV-8B, and F-15A.
Do you think these aircraft are the same strength as the Mirage 4000, which cannot use SARH missiles properly?
I believe that Mirage4000’s BR was unfair even before this BR revision
JAS39A has worse SARH missiles and worse IR missiles than the mirage 4000 and gets less of them

The A7D and A7E going up is insane. They tend to even struggle in a down tier at their old BRs. There is no way they do well at their new BRs.
The higher SU 25s dont really have a reason to go up. Even if they stayed at their original BRs theyd be plauged by SARH missles and still unable to dogfight other airframes. The R73 loses most of its effectiveness with no HMD or radar to slave it with.
The F4C, which many others have been rightfully saying, does not need to go to 10.7! Maybe 10.3 at most.
The F104sasa is DOA now.
The F5E cpuld go up with the rest of its competition, but jesus the pther F5s should never be at the same BR. Especially the F5A.
Seeing some of the SU17-22s go above 11.0 with very few flares is very disheartening.
The J7D needed to stay at 11.0. But the J7E being better in every single way shouldn’t stay at that BR too. STOP CONSIDERING THESE TWO AIRCRAFT EQUAL!!!

The previous 12.7 and the new 13.0 BR are fine. The new BR might even be beneficial to it, as it now gets to fight Phantoms in downtiers.

Nah, the compression hotspot just moved from 9.3-10.3 to 12.0-13.0.
The quality of matches from 9.3-11.3 increased by a lot.

It’s a shame you guys are punishing mirage2000d so hard… not only the gun is a pain in the *** it only gets 2 missiles… and somehow it’s considered as good as mirage2000c with 2 radar missiles and internal guns which can be aimed properly with eegs. Not only that now i face mirage4000 and grippen as a mirage2000d (old 11.3 even old 11.3 aircraft like f4s face those). It’s a total mess we should revert br changes keep the stock grind stuff.

In all fairness, the Python 3 is arguably a worse missile by far. It has the Aim-9L seeker (notoriously bad flare resistance) and only has better range. The Magic both has a tighter turning circle and similar (albeit still worse in comparison by some margins) acceleration. However the IRCCM makes the major difference.
F-20A should be 12.3 NOT 12.7
MiG-21 Bison has HMS, R-73, R-27R on 12.3. F4EJ Kai Phantom II got 4 AIM7F, 4 AIM9L on 12.3.
Tigershark can literally do nothing against not even 13.7, but 13.3 and 13.0 planes like MiG29G and Su-27

Currently, the J35XS sits at 11.3, which is the same battle rating as the F-4E, an aircraft which is objectively more capable at this point.
To contrast the J35XS and F-4E:
- The J35XS Has no RWR, whereas the F-4E does. After the multipathing height adjustments having an RWR is crucial, especially to avoid dying to an ARH/SARH missile.
- The J35XS’s fight performance is rather mediocre at the moment, barely beating out the F-4E if at all.
- The J35XS has 12 countermeasures which fire in pairs of two, giving you 6 “pops” contrasted to the F-4E having 90.
- The J35XS has no radar-guided munitions, being fitted with exclusively R24J missiles.
So, why are these two aircraft now at the same BR? Before the current changes, the J35XS was at 10.7 with the F-4E being at 11.0. While the J35XS does have six pretty decent missiles for the BR, they’re easily flared off with even a couple of rockets from my experience. If the J35XS were either at 11.0 or had it’s flight model changes reverted/adjusted it wouldn’t be an issue, however in it’s current state the J35XS is just not a fun aircraft to fly.

Gaijin loves to make MASSIVE changes, with very little warning, and greatly ignores player feedback. Then they push the change through anyway. This is incredible. Why make us play a messed up game for weeks (potentially months) before you fix it? All they had to do was be patient for a few more days.
Patience, you know… like how players have been waiting YEARS for tech tree bonus xp after fully researching trees. Yea, we’ve waited years. But some BS like this they push out in 3 days.

F-5C is worse than F-5E in almost every category. Literally, a 10 year old could see the problem here.
