I found this in an booklet i acquired recently, this shows an BV 206 of the Norwegian armed forces, witch at the time the picture was taken in 2009 served with the Eigneer Battalion and hauls a load of anti tank mines and is armed with 1x 12.7mm HMG on a Vinghøg soft mount. The rear carriage of this vehicle, is supposed to contain an MICLIC - mine-clearing line charge witch most likely is the reason behind this decal, as when a couple hundred kilos of explosives are fired it can “sting” a little, in addition when its fired it can look a little like serpentine streamers, witch also might be the reason behind the name “Serpent”. the 872 might be a department mark of some sort, i haven’t managed to sort that one out yet.
When i saw this i thought it looked quite cool, and that it could be a nice decal in-game. Either obtainable by events or battle passes.
