Okay this trailer script was done entirely on my own, the commanders were also created by me, I may draw designs of them in future, don’t hold me to that, but decided to make a fan trailer for Sweden, Italy and France.
A cold bright morning.
The camera opens to the snow-covered ground of a field, as the camera shakes, a line of Merkavas roll past on either side heading towards a small village, which is a strategic point.
The commander speaks as the camera raises from off the ground slowly, transitioning to an overview shot of the line of Merkavas making their way into the village.
Commander: ‘’Command this is SnowFox, moving into the village to capture it, over.’’
The camera switches to an inside shot of the tank, to the commander, as Command responds.
Command: ‘’Copy SnowFox, you are clear to engage any hostiles, over.’’
The commander continues to look around from inside his position.
The camera switches to the outside, positioned next to a haystack, as two Merkava’s roll by, when the hay stack suddenly opens fire, in slow motion, sparks and a blast are seen in the side of the first merkava, and between the second merkava.
The camera switches to a shot near the Merkava’s, now smoking, (still in slow motion), before zooming into the hay stack and stopping in front of a smoking barrel, as the speed returns to normal, smoke dissipates from the barrels and shouts of confusion and panic are heard. A radioed woman’s voice speaks in Italian.
Gia: ‘’Autista! Retromarcia! (Driver! Reverse!)’’
The camera switches to a side view showing the back half of a tank sticking out from the haystack, as it reverses, and the hay falls off, it’s revealed to be an Ariete Certezza, as the hay falls, machine gun fire rip into its position while it’s reversing, a tank fire zips past it while it disappears behind a building from the camera’s POV.
The camera switches to inside the tank and a close up shot of the Gia’s eyes squinting, the camera then cuts to a POV of Gia looking out of her optics at the Merkava’s turning to her position.
The camera cuts a ground shot looking up at the Merkava’s as they rumble and turn and drive off camera, as the commander shouts orders.
Commander: ‘’Don’t let her get away!’’
The camera switches to being positioned next to a tank barrel looking through the window of a barn tracking the Merkava’s rushing into the city.
The camera then switches to show a close up on the barrel, as it fires, knocking out a Merkava.
The camera goes from the Merkava to a ground shot of the Leclerc as it reverses from cover.
Colette: ‘’Chauffeur! Marche arrière! (Driver! Reverse!)’’
The camera shows an overview shot of the Merkava’s coming to a stop.
Commander: ‘’Retreat! Retreat!’’
A shot hits the commander’s tank from the side on the right, and the turret pops off, in slow motion heading up to the camera.
The camera switches to a shot of the side of the hull in flames, in the distance an Strv-122, as the hull falls and passes the camera, the camera is now zoomed in onto the Strv-122, through the fire.
The camera cuts to inside the tank, as the commander pulls back from her optic, grinning.
Astrid: ‘’Målet förstört! (Target Destroyed!)"
The camera switches to the Merkava’s retreating reversing, firing off cannons, the camera switches to the Ariete running between houses, as tank rounds rip into the houses, back to the Merkavas, some are aiming else where, the camera switches to the Leclerc returning fire while hiding between houses, the Merkava’s rounds ripping into the buildings around it.
The camera switches back to the Merkava’s, showing as one by one they either go up in flames or their turrets pop off.
The camera cuts to behind the corner of a building, a retreating Merkava in view, the Strv-122 rolls into view of the camera, blocking the Merkava
The camera switches to showing the Strv-122, before it opens fire, the camera follows the round, before it slams into the back of the Merkava, setting it alight.
The Camera switches to the top of the burning Merkava, facing the edge of the village, as the Strv-122 turns and heads to take up position there, followed by LeClerc and Ariete, as Astrid speaks.
‘’Okej, ställ upp, inta försvarsställning. (Alright, form up, take up defensive positions.)’’
The camera switches to Gia looking into her optics, she gasps and gets on the radio.
‘’Ostili! Ore una! 500 metri! (Hostiles! 1 o’clock! 500 metres!)’’, Gia shouts.
Astrid looks into her optics and her face shows recognition.
‘’Håll inne elden! Det är de! (Hold your fire! It’s them!)’’
The camera switches to show a line of tanks, rumbling out of forest, an M1A1, a T-80, a Leopard 2A4, a Challenger 2, a Type 90, and a MBT 2000, as they trundle through the snow field heading to them.
The three commanders stand above their tanks, as the sun peaks through the clouds behind them, Astrid huffs.
‘’Det tog sin tid. (Took them long enough)’’.
The camera momentarily switches to the ground where Astrid’s boot lands and she walks off camera.
Then the camera switches to showing the 3 tanks, while the 3 commanders walk off screen.
