“SEARCH & DESTROY” : Cold War PVE Event - General Information
Using my pervious Tanker PVE events/missions as a general basis, I have created a new large scale Enduring Confrontation style mission that aims to utilise the recently added mechanics for munition interception by AI Vessels plus the newly added Sovremenny class DDGs and California Class CGNs. This event will have two main rounds, the first with a set vehicle list and the second with an open list to be used for wider testing of Anti-Ship missiles and munition interception. The event will take place within the ReaperWing HQ Discord, it will be streamed Live on YouTube by Cmdr. Tyrael and recorded by myself.

How Will it Run?
The mission has two main objectives, firstly the timely destruction of any Soviet Vessels or Aircraft in the operational area. Secondly, the protection of valuable cargo vessels and tankers which will be arranged into 3 separate Convoys. Our forces will be spilt between defensive and offensive roles, for example strike aircraft like the Buccaneer S.2 or A-6E TRAM will focus on an offensive role in running naval strikes against soviet warships. Meanwhile F-4 Phantoms & F-8E Crusaders will prioritise intercepting land based long-range bombers. Winning the mission will depend on how many objectives are completed or the amount of enemy units destroyed, we will also have to prevent the destruction of our own forces or risk losing the mission.
