Maybe they’ve tweaked something but I remember the original datasheets showing the Sea Fury being faster than the Tempest V on the deck and pretty much everywhere above. I’ve tried getting on the old forum but it looks like they’ve got rid of it sadly.
I know the Sea Fury is faster the higher you go.
Pretty sure the Tempest V is faster on the deck and in general the better plane in War Thunder and always has been, there’s some really specific altitude bands where the Sea Fury is faster iirc until 5km or somthin, ngl it’s been a minute since I touched either plane.
After 4km, Sea Fury might a little bit faster, but that doesn’t matter, Tempest MKV has better maneuverability. Sea Fury is pretty hard to dogfight with FW190 or 109, but Tempest is not
The Sea Fury is one of the worst turning single engine planes in the game pretty sure it loses to a Ta-152 C-3 in a flat turning circle
not sure about Tempest vs 109s though, I wouldn’t recommend it
