If the pilots wanted to go full intercept mode, I’d imagen that they would bring (inside going out) Belly AMRAAMs, Inner wing AMRAAMs, Sidewinders/ASMRAAMs, AMRAAM, AMRAAM but maybe guns tanks and 4x AIM 120 and 2x Fox 2 is more realistic
About the pre-LUSH version, do yall think it’d be better to put it at a low BR (11.0?) with only Magic 1s, or with Magic 2s at a higher BR (11.7? 12.0?)

It’s a terrible platform in game. Subsonic brick with 0 hope.

I guess that makes sense if India stays in Britain (which it probably will). But if it were added with Magic 2, what would be the battle rating? Considering the F1C is 12.0 with them.

Frs.1 late is 11.3 in sim and 11.0 in RB.
Gr.7 is 12.3 with 9M
I would assume the early Frs.51 with blue fox and Magic 2 would be 12.0
13.0 for LUSH. With Darby
But I really do not want to see harrier higher than 11.0 it would suffer.

Magic IIs, probably 11.7/12.0.
But honestly, whether we should get any at the moment is questionable. FRS51 would be notably weaker than the FA2 and the FA2 isnt in a healthy place at the moment and before anything else is added we really should get the Harrier GR9A.
Though until we get a Harrier overhaul… Its like trying to start a fire with wet kindling,.

Lighter airframe, Magic 2 and derby with guns. I think it might be stronger.

The engine isn’t too much weaker the FA.2 and Frs.1 don’t perform all that differently.
Should be single pop flare/chaff if they fix the IR issues the CM count wont be too big an issue.
Maybe, Id still prefer the FA2 over the FRS51 99% of the time
Depends on playstyle really, long range AMRAAM, vs low altitude ambush.
Which is what I prefer. (BVR)

Question, could the Sea Harrier FA.2 carry AMRAAMs on the dual pylons? If yes, would it be possible to carry a loadout similar to what the LUSH has to carry?
Yes, but irl it needed the extended wingtips to do this.
The wingtips where scrapped so it never got to dual carry irl

Originally the twin outboard amraam was considered the 4 amraam loadout. Frs.2 was originally going to have the wing tips but the MOD decided they didn’t have the money and cancelled it and went with the belly AMRAAMs.
